Waay back in the mid-1990s when PSU entered the B1G they negotiated a guaranteed bye week before every game against Michigan. I used to live 2 blocks from the Big House and the Penn State lunatics would show up on like Wednesday before a Saturday game and walk up and down State St. talking smack and looking for fights.

Penn State couldn't draw up an easier schedule for next year. They play 6 of the bottom 9 Big 10 teams (if you take Penn State out of the standings since they obviously can't play themselves).

They avoid OSU, Indy and Oregon. Their toughest games are USC and Michigan. OOC it is Marshall, Temple and Buffalo. I wish I was kidding.

Even Notre Dame is laughing at Penn State's schedule.
