Just watched a case break where maybe 9 teams hit. First pack had back-to-back Buster Posey. Brutal.

Rookie class in general last year was brutal. Gonna be lots of brutal breaks on this. Add in the fact that there weren’t cuts on the checklist, at least initially, (haven’t seen if updated), and it’s going to be a bloodbath for most folks unless you pull a Kurtz, Sasaki, Ohtani or Judge. Secondary market prices of this are going to be yikes!

Atypical situation where the 1 case entry limit (4 boxes) is less than limit on loose (5). They could balance case/box winners more than usual without giving up anything.

Personally, I hope I lose this. If I’m gonna win, I’d prefer on the 26 rookie class which is much deeper. I don’t think the 25 class is gonna hold up well over time.

With them increasing print run on this, there’s some seriously questionable hits in a $620 box of this. I’ve seen a few really lousy cases.

Yes, on a per box basis as high as $1250 per box is what is being spent by 30 breaker johns.

I’ve noticed that topps is following their usual one “group A” hit per case on average. Ben Rice is considered a “group A” auto, so yes, you can get destroyed by this product on a per box basis. The framed cards are the usual $30-$50 hall of famers and there are zero cut autos this year, so that framed card is pretty much blah for the price you are paying.

Watched an auction of player spots for a break of this and people were paying over what the same players went for in five star. The case break resulted in Barry Zito frame, Darryl Strawberry frame, Joe Carter frame, Cam smith auto /25. Just a dumpster fire product with barely any hits. 10x the hobby.

Reminded of 2022 Gilded when I pre-ordered 14 boxes at $375 apiece...they kept delaying the release and I kept ordering them 1-2 at a time..I believe eastbayak took me up on my tip on here to buy some at the time. I still have a rose gold Ohtani auto /25, Witt auto /199, and many more cards that I hit...good times.

I will say that some are a little overpriced, like series 1 and bowman draft for example. This one might be the most overpriced product of 2025
