SGC 10 US1 batting sold for $7677 on eBay tonight. Someone got a good deal. Are SGC prices that bad?

They have been awful ever since PSA pulled resources and ran them into the ground. There was a time when premiums were trending up, but not anymore. To be fair, there are a lot SGC 9.5s that would not sniff a PSA 9.
Seen dented cards get 9.5s

Nice! Are you going to try to cross it? Seems like a wash if it's a PSA 9 and a huge win if you can get a 10.

Noooo, don't say that. I have a 9.5 coming to me I'm hoping to cross to at least a PSA 9.

It's not a given. I have had plenty of 9s cross, but you need to use your own eyes and inspect before cracking.

I remember when you would see PSA and new cards and wonder why. Can we go back to 2015ish, such simpler times in the collecting world.

This was a $800 card a month ago. I may have to take this.
Well I'm glad I didn't take the 2500 offer (this sale isn't mine either).

I have a handful of Ohtani Rc's that I pulled way back when that I want to grade. Would I be better off sending them all at once in one big sub or break them up into 2 or 3 smaller subs to hopefully prevent bias from having one person looking at multiple copies of the same card ?

I bought a 59 card rookie lot last year for $1450 and now its worth over $4000. Ohtani is baseball!!

Great question…. I’m trying to decide how I want to grade the 100+ Ohtani RCs I purchased over the weekend as well!

I'd break them up. If you send them all in 1 huge lot and you get the grader from hell, that's gonna be a big L. I'd rather spend a little more to ship them in smaller lots to mitigate the grader from hell scenario.

Looking at some sales transactions from over the weekend for rookies, and as usual lately several new ATH's hit (I mean almost each passing day some new Ohtani cards hit ATHs):

-18 BC #1 base PSA 10 - $4.4k
-18 TCU #HMT32 pink refractor PSA 10 - $2.7k
-18 TC #150 refractor PSA 10 - $2.8k
-18 TCU #HMT1 base PSA 10 - $575
-18 TCU #HMT1 pink refractor PSA 10 - $2.3k

And of course a plethora of 2013 BBM cards hit new ATHs as well.

There’s been 19 of the pitching (#d to 399) cards graded by PSA and 4 of the memorabilia cards (all are 8s). Thanks in advance
C'mon fellas, looking for any info. Do we hate PJ cards that much or no one knows the origin of "China Day" Ohtanis?
