A note on the nameplate for Knueppel. The colors are what Topps has been using for the Western Conference (Player Name - Green Text/Yellow Background, Team Name - White City Text/Yellow Team Text/Red Background). With the Hornets in the Eastern Conference, the name plate should match (Player Name - Red Text/Yellow Background, Team Name - White Text/Blue Background).

I'm interested in the thought process behind the player selection. Johnson is the second Hawks player featured, and we still have 17 teams awaiting their first player inclusion. I understand it's early in the set, and this is not exclusive to the NBA set.

For comparison, it took 44 cards for each of the current 30 MLB franchises to receive at least one card. Granted, that also came with a release schedule of 3 cards per week, too.

The final franchise represented was the Texas Rangers (#44 Bartolo Colon).

The following franchises received two or three cards before all franchises were represented.

There are a few players that either shouldn't have been the first player to represent a franchise, or featured in the first 100 cards released (i.e. Morrow, Markakis, Segura, Taylor, Headley). The majority of the rest are rookies or Hall of Famers (current, soon-to-be, or future).

So far there have only been a couple missteps to start the NBA set, Banchero and Jalen Johnson. I'm excited to see what the rest of the season holds.

That would give him the highest print run for a Hall of Fame member to date. I think being more current than Russell, and associated with the '90s Bulls, may be just the bump he needs to hit 7,000+.
