I paid $3k for a Curry noir auto during the pandemic pump.

Sold it for $1.4k just because.

I would say maybe around $2,500 on an /25 Jordan auto I wanted to move, but it was towards a way better Jordan auto so I'll live.

I paid a little less than $5k for an MJ exqusite jersey card at the height of the bubble. Sold it for less than half two years later. Now it's probably worth more than the $5k I paid for it. Crazy times.

A measly $1500, which was in 2015 as I was reconnecting with the hobby.

I let go many cards but this is the only one I want back.

BGS9 /100 sold recently @ 1300. That one is /50 with a long inscription. Havent seen one sold recently. I'd imagine 3K+ raw?

Funny story... I PC's Ben Simmons and managed to be profitable.

The stuff I still own is near worthless, but one summer after they annual 3 point workout videos came out, I cashed out a ton of his cards and put the money into Mahomes. I'm talking 14 Prizm PSA 10 rookies for $500 a piece, a Galactic for $2k, and more.

My biggest single loss (that i still own by the way) was taking an absolute long shot swing by paying $2k for Emoni Bates NBA Debut jersey. I figured even if he caught on as a 3 point specialist it would be a decent buy. He could have become a meme player and it would have been fun.

He's out of the league now and there's nothing I can do with it other than let it sit in a closet somewhere.

Bought a Zion One and One base /99 for $1500 in 2022, thinking that was a great deal considering what they cost a year earlier, and how hard they were to win at the time.

Still got it, but now i've got another couple since then that I got for $120 or so each

Picked up this haul at wal mart on Thanksgiving 2019. About $1200 worth when they costed $20 each. There are 2 layers of boxes there.

Ripped it all and sold everything off basically immediately besides RJ Barrett (PC) and Ja. A few months later sealed blasters hit like $400 each and all the Zion stuff went wild.

Oooofff....selling way too early on Steph, easily.

I sold a bunch of big LeBron rookies and autographs over the years but always held onto a sizable personal collection so I was never too worried about those.

With Steph - I didn't keep anything and sold just about all of it in 2015. Had a PSA 9 Topps Gold and a 2009 PSA 9 Chrome. I don't think I got 1200 bucks for the pair, haha. At this point I have one nice autograph from 2015 but that's literally it. Now those 2009 Topps Gold rookies are five figures in decent shape. And the Chromes, being out of 999 are impossible to track down for a reasonable price, they're as good as extinct to me.

I also sold a few Jordan autographs over the years that were just terrible ideas despite making out alright financially. It's Jordan...what're we doing!?
