I love Shohei v.halos but there's no comparison with the press he is getting as a Dodger. Those dudes are pushing all the right buttons.

A no-hitter is completely different from a 1-hitter though, and would cause a lot more commotion than a 1-hit shutout.

Absolutely. Im just saying things have changed from two years ago. If he has a double header like that now, the impact on prices is significantly magnified. A historic game is always a possibility, and everyone knows now what that can do.

Was able to snag a htf in the wild. Won't be grading this one after the fiasco last time lol.

I mean he struck out 10 in a game he homered three times, one being only the 9th ball to ever leave Dodger Stadium, in a game where his team clinched the pennant. I think his incredible games are just about cooked into his prices at this point. I think what we are seeing this offseason honestly is just people coming to the conclusion that he doesn't have to really do anything more to cement his place in MJ tier of hobby legends.

Sick, was this from a show? Nice addition to your stash of those. I have just 1 and it's staying raw as well

Terrible gambler, but an amazing investor
Considering Ippei had this card...I'd say so.

Imagine if the Feds auctioned this off. 7 figures?

Was able to snag it off ebay within an hour of being listed .

I'm a sucker for these one touch manufacturer sealed cards lately. Takes the pressure off of grading.

With the notoriety of the card, it should easily break into upper six figures. Would be a valuable touch if PSA reslabbed all the cards as "Ippei Collection" on the flip

Hypothetical, if Skubal balls out until the trade deadline then gets traded to the Dodgers and pitches lights out, can he even win the CY and how would they decide for which league. Is it purely a games started deal. Could he win both leagues CY?

Serious question for you guys. I'm on the east coast. My daughter was accepted to USC but she understandably wants to visit before committing. Money is super tight so I'm going to sell my 2018 US1 warm up shirt PSA 9. It looks like it'd get 1600 on eBay at the moment which would cover the trip. It seems like waiting a few days to list it once the WBC starts would be the right thing to do. Does that seem reasonable? Would it make sense to just list it now? I don't want to leave too much on the table since it seems like it could be $2500 in a week.

If you can wait for a few days probably a better move. Not really any downside to waiting unless you need $$ immediately. He jacks 3 bombs in the first game, definitely could be beneficial.

BTW, great job Dad I finally got my little girl 4 yrs ago and I'm pretty sure I'd sell everything if I needed too. She's so much different than my boys.

I don't think it is going to make much of a difference tbh. Ohtani is the hottest thing since sliced bread right now.

Thanks guys. I think I'll wait until the 8th. I may just list it on here actually unless there's a downside to that I'm not thinking of.

No downside as long as you get what you're happy with it.

These are custom card commissions that Juan has produced. I commissioned one a few years back and it has the same back.

Since they aren't pack pulled it's tough to put a price on them. Juans work is some of the best though.
