LOL, the picture for the hobby box is pulled from and watermarked by 1 of the big three. What a clownshow over there.

The coolest relics (all the vintage Disneyland tickets, pins, and Disney dollars not counting the Mickey haven’t surfaced yet) those relics I named will be the most valuable and likely have less copies.

Can’t wait to see some of those start showing up, and the haunted mansion I do like also.

Was going through a screen recording of a whatnot stream I took. A box was opened with an /70 Auto Opportunity and an /25 Auto Opportunity but no base. Also had an /55 Mark Twain card.

The second box had a base auto opportunity,/50 auto opportunity,/70 auto opportunity,10 Happy Haunts,/55 Gray Stuff, and /55 enchanted relic!

I snagged this for $75. May have overpaid, but I am always happy to snag an alpha...

If you really want it it's not an overpay.

Got my lone box.
Numbered were the Pinocchio Unsigned /25, and an Abominable Snowman (then) base 44/55, so not too shabby. Regular Unsigned was Tinker Bell.
80 cards total, 57 different base and 23 foil/subsets.

I have two regular hobby boxes ordered. I'll definitely finish up the 150 card base set, not super interested in the rest, although I do like the Topps '55 Baseball homage character cards (got 3 of those), and the poster cards (got 2 of those).

There's a full 50 card set of the vintage attraction poster cards in the excellent 2005 Upper Deck Disneyland 50th set.
They weren't rare by any means at one-per-pack, but being a 50 card subset, it's not the easiest set to assemble.

Opened one of my boxes from Disney store….card out of /55, card out of /150, base Elsa blank auto, Gepetto blank 70th auto, and silver Icon Mickey (Bret Iwan) auto. So was happy with that.

Do we have a consensus with Park Exclusive boxes. Are we better off opening packs and selling pulled cards. or are we better of reselling the boxes? I read somewhere in this thread that there were about 10,500 park exclusive boxes. I am not sure how accurate that info is or if they will create more... but maybe I keep one of the park exclusive boxes for long term?

If that quantity is accurate, there is zero chance these boxes won't sell for at least double by this time next year.
Triple or Quadruple, though? Not so sure on that.
I might leave a regular hobby box sealed (out of the only 2 I bought), but I wanted to see these cards in person, so I didn't think twice about opening my park box.

Thanks for the info on your base cards and foils you pulled, also nice hits from your one box!

You picked the right box to open what a great box! My two will be here tomorrow really want to open both but will have to decide on that.

Based on the on-site auto 1/1 odds:

1:2,718 * 38 total subjects = 103,284 total packs = ~10,328 total boxes

You have to assume a good portion of this will be opened and who knows if Topps made sealed cases available.
So supply of boxes will dwindle with time.

Boxes seem to be selling steady for $200, but who knows if people are just buying because regular hobby hasn't release yet.
How much higher they go, it depends on how the set is received.

My 11 year old talked me into opening the other 3 boxes my wife got. These are a really fun rip honestly. In 4 boxes ended up with the Mickey autograph, sketch card, Star Tours Relic /55, Happy Haunts Insert, 4 base Autograph Opportunities, 2 foil Autograph Opportunities (/70 and /50), and 7 Gold foils /55, one teal /150, and 8 purples. I think given they are sold at the park you will see a lot ripped at the park with kids and this product will dry up quick.

Wow, this is great. Sketch card is a major score. We would love to see it!

My wife and I opened the box we ordered from the Disney Store. We got a base Aurora blank auto, a Dale blank auto /70, a Pirates of the Caribbean /55, a Mark Twain Riverboat /99 and the Welcome to Disneyland Chrome card that falls about 1 a case. I can't remember a post-Fanatics Topps product that was pretty easy to get, $150 a box, and a good value. We were very satisfied.

These on site autos are so intriguing to me. Can’t decide on the value going forward

Here's the cards from my box, mentioned above.

If it is around 10,300 of the Disneyland/Store boxes, the purple parallels, though not numbered, are limited to around 137 of each, which is fewer than a couple of the serial numbered parallels.

Numbered cards will be the key here I feel like…since I know nothing about card collecting but a lot about Disneyland and World. They won’t bypass the opportunity to continue to sell boxes of these at $150 per just because the initial lot got bought up. It will be interesting to see what happens. I don’t mind either way, but no way they will let the kids be sad about not being able to get an onsite autograph on a piece of cardboard.

I just tried autographing my Pinocchio card myself (so as to save a trip to Disneyland) but my nose grew with each letter I'd write and it kept knocking the Sharpie out of my hand.

I opened my 2 Disney Store boxes and pulled a gold auto opportunity in each box. Anna and Elsa. Also a /55 Dole Whip and a couple Star Tours/Indy parallels for the PC. Didn’t notice any duplicate base cards so im hoping to have 2/3 of the set.

Why is this forum in the format of the early 2000’s? Seems they have a strong amount of members and action. No excuse for not being able to like a post and post a picture that is hosted by Blowout.
