Nuremberg..

Obviously for history buffs, probably already knew most of the movie...that said, Russell Crowe is outstanding as is Rami Malek

Looking forward to this one. The first movie was fantastic.

Lazy script, bad casting, bad acting, cinematography wasn’t very good. It looked like Netflix slop.

I stopped it about 1/2 way in and didn’t care to finish

Yeah I don't mind salty language but when everybody is saying the f word and it's being said after every 4th word, it gets obnoxious. That was some lazy script writing.

There's a scene near the end where our hero is fighting one of the bad guys in near total darkness in a swamp. At first I was annoyed because I couldn't tell who was winning or what was going on. Then I thought to myself, it really doesn't matter, we've seen this a million times before anyway. That's the story of this movie. Nothing new, nothing groundbreaking, nothing even remotely rewatchable. I expected more from Damon and Affleck.

I haven't seen either yet, but plan to shortly.

On Hulu now:
"Kiss of the Spider-Woman" was probably meant to be Oscar-bait given that the original 1985 film won Best Actor for William Hurt and the 1993 Broadway musical based on it won a slew of Tony Awards. Now it's come full circle with this new film based on the musical. Diego "Andor" Luna is excellent in the role played by Raul Julia in the original film, but the expanded role of the "Spider-Woman" actress is played by Jennifer Lopez, who looks great and dances well but doesn't really have the singing and acting chops for the job.
By turns (purposely) dreary and colorful, it's still a good effort and I'd recommend it to fans of musicals.

6.1/10

Actually agree with Hamnet, didnt really know what to expect going in- other than the Shakespeare life story...Buckley was amazing, as was Mescal, although he didnt shine until the end with his emotional To Be or Not to Be speech and portrayal of the Ghost in his own play..

Didn't really know much about Kiss, I jist couldn't get into it. Luna is always great...but just didn't catch my attention...since it was just someone retelling a "movie"..

Yup and expect more of it. Oddly enough that movie has a lot of backers that stand by the quality.

Weird times we live in.

Crowe has been so hammy and OTT in his "I'm divorced, fat and don't care" era (pretty much his words) - so seeing him be so restrained at points where Goering's facade slips....a treat. Best he's been in years.
