Default Warning! A large number of 2015 ABA League Jokic rookie stickers are counterfeit.

In recent years, a large number of 2015 ABA League Jokic rookie stickers sold on eBay in the United States have been counterfeit. If you are investing in these stickers, please be extremely careful! Currently, there are still sellers on eBay offering these fake Jokic ABA League rookie stickers in bulk, such as in lots of 10. Please pay close attention when identifying them.

To distinguish fakes, carefully examine the printing details. With the naked eye, you can see that counterfeit stickers often have blurry printing. At present, PSA may not have been meticulously verifying the authenticity of these stickers, and a significant portion of counterfeit stickers have already received PSA grading. However, by closely examining the high-resolution images on the PSA website, you can still identify fakes with the naked eye.

Not surprising, yet the sheep continue to pay for it so it won't stop.

Good timing, I was looking into buying one - hard to tell the difference between those picks, other than one looking more washed out. I would take it this one is also fake - https://www.cgccards.com/certlookup/6098819002/

CGC scans tend to be less vibrant than PSA and especially SGC. Everything looks washed out with CGC and you are also looking through another sleeve with that card.

Look closely at the photo—the texture of the sticker's print is off.

This sticker comes from the 2015 ABA league sticker box. Each box contains only 20 packs, with 5 stickers per pack. On average, you need about 2.5 boxes to pull one Jokic rookie sticker. Some sellers offer them in groups of 10 at a time, and selling 6-7 groups is highly abnormal—that would require opening 170-200 boxes of stickers. In reality, there aren’t that many boxes in existence for them to open.

Based on my review of a portion of the results currently checked on eBay, I estimate that at least 60% of the graded PSA Jokic ABA 2015 rookie stickers are fake, and the proportion may even be higher. The price of this sticker has been dragged down by a large number of counterfeit graded copies. In reality, the number of authentic stickers is far less than what is currently shown on the PSA website.

If you use a magnifying glass to carefully compare, fake stickers are very easy to distinguish. The printed patterns and clarity simply cannot compare with those of genuine stickers. It’s likely that PSA has not yet noticed the large number of counterfeit stickers in circulation. The method to distinguish real from fake is very simple. I hope this sticker serves as a reminder for card collectors investing in Jokić, and I also hope that those familiar with PSA can forward this to the company, in the hope that PSA will cancel the grading of these fake stickers in the future.

All those stickers are FAKE!!!

Based on eBay's history over the past three months, this seller has sold over 240 fake stickers. Looking further back at eBay's records, this seller has been active for several years, selling approximately more than 1,000 fake stickers. As a major consignment seller, they should reflect and apologize to the investors of these stickers. Faced with such a sudden surge in the volume of these stickers, didn't this large consignment seller have any discernment? Now, these sold stickers may have ended up in the hands of many people, and many of them have already been encased in grading holders from PSA, CSG, and others.

Not the first time by any means. The grading companies should know better, but their “authentication” service (I use that term very, very loosely) is reactive, not proactive.

It’s obvious that all the Muflon stickers are not good, but it does seem strange that a counterfeiter would use a Slovenian adhesive paper unless they are coming out of Eastern Europe.

Where it becomes challenging is I thought initially that the Ritrama stickers were all real, but there’s some coming out of Sweden with the Ritrama logo on the back NOT oriented 90 degrees off from the sticker text and I think those are highly suspect as well.

For now the only ones I really trust are ones with a sideways Ritrama logo on the back.

The print on this horizontal Ritrama logo sticker is very blurry and also appears to be fake.

We talkin' about stickers? Not a Prizm. Not a Prizm. Not a Prizm. We talkin' about stickers. Not a Prizm. Not the Prizm that I go out there and die for. And chase every Prizm like it's my last. We talkin' about stickers.
