What's your opinion on them? Can't believe people are paying crazy prices for the little gold that's in them.

The premium on goldbacks is ridiculous.
That said, they are more numismatic than bullion. They are nice art pieces.

I own several that I have won in giveaways from whatnot. I’ve also got a few free ones in APMEX orders and from the Goldback website.

I would never buy any with the insane premium.

If anyone wants goldbacks, you can win them on whatnot for free.

I've got a few, all from Free Offers. Retailers will send a "sample" with completion of an online form; One per person/household per retailer but the retailer list / participant list keeps getting larger (though it seems like its been a while since a new one was added to this "program")

Edit: Received my sample Goldback a while ago. Would probably buy some if there was a local dealer.

Glad there was a existing thread on goldbacks, working on a deal with someone and they asked if they could pay half in cash and the other half in goldbacks. While they look kinda cool, really don't see the value here so declined. It would have been a thousand in cash and a thousand in goldbacks.

If you're trying to sell for $2,000 and he's offering $1,000 cash and 1,000 1 goldbacks, I would take that in a heartbeat. If it's 1,000 worth of goldbacks, I would look into it a little more.

Goldbacks have gold in them, and precious metals will continue to rise long term.

It was $1000 in cash and $1000 worth of goldbacks. I am a big fan of precious metals and have been for awhile. These just seem too gimmicky for me, though they do look cool
