Yep. It puts the seller in a bad position. Ebay flags any attempts to negotiate a price or selling outside of Ebay.

I can see the exclusives jump in price within a week and regular hobby takes a dip.

Blasters look like a bunch of base with 2 pink shimmers. We'll see hobby in a few days.
Exclusive boxes are already uptrending in price (mainly because available supply is decreasing while demand remains strong). I've been tracking prices and available supply (mainly unique listings) for almost a week.

Technically, yes. Just don't abuse it and you'll be fine.

Someone I know must have 1000 red flags on their account then. Good thing that someone is still able to buy/sell on eBay (and even has an eBay store)!

Prices are starting to rise and available supply is decreasing on eBay (most likely due to the fact that boxes are no longer available in Downtown Disney where customers were able to purchase up to 10 boxes).

Also, reach out to eBay sellers and attempt an off-eBay deal (save yourself 10% +/- your state's sales tax rate).

SCC put out a buy offer for the park exclusive boxes (albeit low at $175 per) and they might slowly increase it (which will also raise the floor price). Right now, you still might be able to land boxes at $200-$210 per goods/services.

I shouldn't have opened the 16 boxes I got in lol. Was a damn good time though

They were very fun to open and I only had two, wish I had more but don’t want to pay these higher prices now.

I'd recommend uploading as private so you don't get a ton of annoying comments on your photos -- they can still be seen by people with the link. I made a demonstration post here. It will be annoying at first but maybe it's better that way as then people only upload photos when they really really want to lol
Thank you for this

I don’t really have any interest in the regular hobby boxes but I’m intrigued by the park exclusive boxes. Lower print run and the way they were distributed should lead to a larger than normal percentage of the boxes being opened. I have a couple to open on the way but am debating buying more to stash away, is there a decent amount of value in the contents of what people have been pulling?

Buy as many as you can afford.

Regular hobby has better odds than park if you discount character autos and gold confetti.

The park boxes will ascend for sure due to many reasons.

The hobby boxes will stay flat until supply dwindles, then they are ascending too. It's not complicated.

The exclusive boxes have a higher floor: 1-2 onsite autos and a gold /55 in about every box.
Higher chance at /5 parallel, Exclusive Chrome inserts, purple glitter foils, etc.

So is Topps going to have more regular hobby boxes for sale on Friday or is it just the product drop from Fanatics?

I can only imagine the cards you pulled. Hit any sketches? Crazy to see what some are selling for (a really sweet Winnie the Pooh & friends one seems to have just sold for $2.6k, it was beautiful though).

You can always buy more :P

It's only going to creep higher (up to a certain point). You could always attempt to secure some off-eBay (or hit DL) and sell most to recoup most of funds (to drive down average cost of the boxes you rip, you can easily get back to MSRP [or better] this way if patient).

To simplify, park exclusives boxes are like FOTL boxes and regular boxes are like non-FOTL boxes.

Wish I knew! This suggests a regular on-sale Friday, but the Fanatics Drops lottery thing adds to the mystery.

Damn, I tried to penny pinch on the base /99s (tried to get them for sub-$30 per) and now prices are getting away. All the $30-$40 ones are gone and there's auctions with bids in the $50s.

You did well. I wish I jumped on them when you did.

Seems like a decisive way to sell more boxes if it’s both. It is what it is. I did 5 on the Fanatics and will probably do some more on the Topps on Friday.

The good news is that it was just the Park drop.
The mass break starts in 4 days.
Gentlemen, start your engines.

Will be interesting to see if these pop up at mall locations like Lids and GameStop.

I was wondering if they'd get Stranger Things. Something tells me if you try to call them, they just say no and hang up.

Edit: they were nice but they didn't carry it. I've never seen non-sports at my Locker Room other than the Chrome products like Marvel Studios or Disney.

I can walk into my Lids on Friday and ask the guy. He seems cool but in general he says he just gets what his regional manager allocates. I did put the Disneyland set on his radar a couple weeks ago though. So maybe he’s able to get some.

I just ripped 2 of the 30 boxes I bought via secondary market and they were LOADED (well, 1 definitely was and 1 is open to interpretation :P).

Box #3 with the "1/1"

Initially, I thought I hit a die-cut because there was a lot of space where I expected to see an edge of the card (where the hits were located too). Nope, just a random, miscut piece. What started as excitement quickly became disappointment lol.

Box #4 made up for it though. The box was a little banged up so I decided to rip it instead of sit on it (if sold in the future, a buyer might have an issue with it). Damaged box mojo.

Hit my first actual auto (and a sweet Daisy Duck 70th auto opportunity card) BUT I have to highlight one specific card: Nothing Can Stop Us Now (Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railroad) Red White Light Bulb #5/5: This card is incredibly sentimental to me because it's the first ride that my wife and I took our daughter on (also my daughter's first visit to Disneyland). Unfortunately, it temporarily traumatized her but it's a big memory of ours (and she's rode it again since).

Anyway, very happy with the break and have already set aside a couple of these cards for the PC (Nothing Can Stop Us Now #5/5 and Happy Haunt /99, might keep the Winnie the Pooh #/55 too).

Awesome stuff! imo, the /5 parallels are the best in the set as they are on theme. Great story also!

The Gold Confetti /55 color match Winnie! congrats on the hits.
