I also got a case of hobby at $1100 a few months ago. Hockey doesn't seem to sell where I live. It just sits on the shelves at Walmart. I just wasn't sure if $60 a tin made sense or not. I bought a lot of McDavid rookie year retail when that product came out and did very well with it. Hopefully Celebrini will continue on a similar trajectory, plus I enjoy watching him play.

Surprised to see there were only 12 packs in the box instead of 24. Now I know how UD is keeping up with Fanatics prices. Half the amount of packs in the box.

To be fair, they halved the odds too so you get the same content, just in less packs.

Random question. I’m going to a Blue Jackets game later this month and want to get a Celebrini jersey to wear. I would need to order soon. I don’t want anything crazy expensive but a decent jersey to wear on occasion. What would I be looking for? I’m recently getting more and more into hockey. Thank you.

You can get a China fake jersey for pretty cheap, under 50 bucks or so. If you want an "honest" product, the Fanatics Breakaway is the cheapest option. Then there is a middle tier option (i forget what its called), then the Authentic Pro which will run about $500 or so. You can get an Game Used Celebrini from the Sharks for about 10K if you like.

Celebrini is on pace to set the Sharks season record for points in a year. Somewhat surprisingly, the Sharks have only had 1 player get a 100 point season in their entire existence, Joe Thornton with 115.

Celebrini stuff is expensive, but the guy is probably the next generational player, Crosby/McDavid level.

I have nothing of him yet, I don't want to spend crazy money, I'll look for something lower-end and shiny, maybe a Composition insert.

I agree with you, sadly. I am focusing on everything else for the time being. You can still grab some of his autos out of The Cup that are numbered to 50 or less for around the priced that a young guns Gem goes for. Madness

The SPX Base RC has a nice color match and shiny outbursty look to it.
