I'm not usually into conspiracy stuff, things seem... odd this time.
I forgot that the delivery date is coming up and there are a lot of contracts still open and standing for delivery, it almost feels like an attempt to reduce those open contracts. I didn't know the Indian markets are closed today which isn't helping things. All that's missing is another COMEX power outage right before delivery date. |

Metal movements continue to be perplexing, but interesting.
Last night before I turned in silver was -$3 and gold was down over -$115. A few hours ago silver right around even, bouncing between a few cents over to a few cents under and gold was still down about -$70. Now, shortly before the Monday close silver is suddenly up +$2.50 and gold has recovered a bit more to -$33. Trying to figure out what metals will do is pretty much just a pure guessing game right now. |

What is going on?
A few days ago silver was $85 and gold was $5100 and now they are $69 and $4600. They have both been hammered all week but tonight was especially brutal with silver down $7 and gold down $200. ![]() Edit- In the 5 minutes since I first posted silver dropped another $1.50 and gold another $80. I can't find any news to explain it, hell everything seems like it should be positive for metals. Last edited by Incarnadine; 03-19-2026 at 07:50 AM. |

US dollar strengthening due to the "war", which usually makes gold go the other way.

Going to snag some more platinum this week as I am finding AT SPOT deals and just above spot for 1/4-1/3oz coins... but if silver keeps heading down it might be time to switch back depending on the ratio! WILD TIMES!!!!
