One month since order was logged by CGC and still in scheduled for grading. I was looking at the dates on my past couple of orders. Less than 20 days and had the cards back in hand. Seems like it was only about a month ago...oh wait it was. LOL. It's hard to imagine the volume that caused them to fall so far behind this quickly.

With the amount of people that they had working the booth at Megacon over the weekend they may have had the office closed on Monday while traveling back.

I dropped off a couple of card submissions and some comics over the 4 days at Megacon over the weekend and I am able to report that they were taking in a lot of cards, not just comics like in past years. Every time I was there, at least a third of the kiosks had people submitting cards.

For comparison…I didn’t visit the PSA booth this year but every time I walked past, the same PSA guy was sitting there all alone with his head in his hands just watching people walk by. It was actually comical and I wish I had taken a photo.

That's not good at all. This definitely should have made the next stage before the new TAT. You might want to reach out and ask for an update.

Good info. Come summer we will see the impact of people not sending cards to PSA. THEY are so backlogged their grading numbers eilll not change much. If submissions are down that says the community finally grew a pair. We are the reason change happens.

That is bonkers. Either they are falsely assigning the GEI status when it’s not really in that status, or something happened to really backlog, real fast this month. That is what can be frustrating with all these places…grading companies, COMC, etc…things go from 0 to 100 suddenly in these cases, and it’s like theyre not prepared to handle whatever it is. Just a month or two ago an economy sub with CGC could have been done in a couple weeks. Now it looks like these are progressively getting pushed back- my comc subbed economy card was originally due like 4/8, and I’m watching that. Then 5/8…then 5/28, assuming itll just keep going….it’s like the delay pushback is hopelessly outpacing any timeframe that card could come back. With my luck I always have something in right when the sudden seismic shifts happen. And I think it’ll get a whole lot worse than this with the tremendous flood of this week’s packages from the deadline.

My sub I have in there was GEI around 3/12 or so I’d have to check. Still in that. In fact it seems like none of ours are moving past GEI anymore…weird.

Yeah I actually did reach out to customer service this morning. Fortunately or unfortunately everything is fine and it is indeed still in GEI. Specifically they told me encapsulating. They are just really slow. I'm not even sure that new 40 day for economy will hold at the current pace.

Im on day 24 still in scheduled for grading. Doubt it'll make the 40 day, this seems like 2020-2021 all over again.

Agree. One week orders are being turned around in like 2-3 weeks, the next week orders are stuck and not moving.

Hey lets all just have some patience ... for the longest this is what we wanted for CGC cards to get the respect that their comics (and coins) have.

I log in daily and see nothing changed like the rest of us... but we will all be happy when we see those slabs in hand. The good news is they are still doing lots of shows and getting the word out and hiring as well.
