Best Punk promo ever? I think that topped the Pipe Bomb. At first I was like "meh" when he talked about Roman, but once he got to the Rock and TKO I was hooked.

Loved what he said about McAfee and ticket prices.

Talking about ticket prices. Is this like Triple H having these guys go rogue? I gotta imagine these are working promos because surely TKO wouldn’t allow themselves to be badmouthed without their knowledge, so it is entertaining but I’m not sure I feel sucked into anything more.

Mysterio being cleared and being in the IC Title Ladder Match makes Gunther attacking Rollins make even less sense, since the plan was for Gunther/Mysterio the whole time and the reason Gunther went MIA was that they had nothing for him because Mysterio was hurt. especially since Breakker is cleared also.

After sleeping on it I think it does make sense with the backstage interaction between Gunther/Heyman, it's the way they are getting to it that makes no sense. Because, as said, all the players that were supposed to be involved at WM are cleared, so why not go through with WM plans and do the build starting after that ?

It's clear they are setting up Gunther/Lesnar likely at Summerslam, maybe as late as Survivor Series as Lesnar's retirement match. Gunther is taking care of Rollins, and in return, Heyman now owes him something much bigger than just a thank you and that something is Brock Lesnar on a silver platter.

^^^ With the pattern of wrestlers retiring at a PLE of importance to them, I would put my money on Lesnar going out at SummerSlam.

That is where he won his first WWE Championship from The Rock.

IDK if this was the plan all along or if it's a pivot due to the backlash that the McAfee reveal got but it's starting to feel like we're being worked. Maybe the Final Boss returns to represent the evil TKO board of directors and Randy becomes the corporate champion that Cody refused to be?

Night One does not look interesting to me at all outside of Cody vs. Orton

Seems a bit female match heavy too, like one of them should be on Night Two (Lee/Lynch or the 4-way).

Brock definitely wants out early per usual, surprised he's not starting Night One instead of Night Two.
