97 i think... 54 on the bottom and 43 up top, that's what it looks like, tough to count on a computer screen.

they do add up to 261 though, so that's good.

has the 1600 product released a checklist like that one? where the variations and everything are #'ed? i would like to link to both on my group break thread.

Famous Fabrics has already listed entire checklists of all 480 unique 1/1 cut autograph cards.

Cause there are big collectors out there who want cut autos of presidents kids

Oval Office: 2/261 chance of hitting a Washington auto
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue: 0/480 chance of hitting a Washington auto

Did you see where base cards are already individually bringing $40, $50 , $60 and more? And you get 4 of these per box!

How much cheaper is 1600 Penn. Ave. NW?

There are two ways to look at each product:

- Am I in this for a GW or GW/Lincoln dual cut?

- Am I in this for a shot at a rare Presidential cut while reducing my chance at losing almost all my investment?

There's no doubt that there are buyers for each product. I bought more 2008 Oval Office than most people.

We don't need to start this up again.

1600 has base cards that go for $40-70 each. That's $200 easy right there. Sure, your second cut may only be a $30-40 card, but now you're only about $1250 into your President cut at the most. With Leaf, you have better odds at pulling something huge, but you're still an extra $250 into your cut. It's a tough call (and I've decided not to take the plunge with either one), but if you're gambling that much money, I think it just comes down to personal preference.

I'll be spending my money chasing after a few of the base cards from 1600. Not sure if I'll put the entire set together, but there are definitely a few that I want for my collection.

That is cool. There's another guy here who has sketched for Topps before. I bought a custom sketch of Golden Tate awhile back from yet another guy on this board who won Topps' "You Sketch It" promotion from a few years back.

There's a lot of talented people on this board.

There is a $25 difference between the 2 on BO right now and if you are spending $1.5K on a box, that shouldn't matter.

Just like 5 extra cards shouldn't matter, right? LOL

I don't know about you, but $25 matters to me. I can pay for 3 rides on an elephant at the Shriner's circus for $25 and still have change left over. At least at yesterday's prices.

Let's save this argument for when some stuff has sold on eBay . So far we have a Clinton base that sold for around $60 and a bunch that didn't sell for a starting price of $20

It must suck to not be "in the know" and make posts of opinion as if they are fact. Unfortunately for you, this post of yours stating "they didn't sell" isn't true.

Those cards sold off-line. The seller(s) removed them after being contacted by a serious buyer.

What else you got?

You mean all the $19.99's that ended because "The item is no longer available"? Come on, don't start saying they didn't sell. Were not blind here at what happened.

Edit: Looks like Matt beat me to it.

I'm sorry I didn't look at every auction to see how they ended. I'll leave that up to you guys since you have much more free time. Regardless we only have one sale so far to base anything off of.

You really should stop posting silly nonsense.

What are you talking about having only "one sale so far to base anything off of"? Here are a quick 4:

BILL CLINTON FAMOUS FABRICS 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE 2/10 | eBay

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

ULYSSES JULIA GRANT FAMOUS FABRICS PRESIDENT COUPLES 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVE #10 | eBay

BO 2012 FAMOUS FABRICS THE OBAMAS PRESIDENT PET 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVE BASE 1/10 | eBay

And I know of about 2 dozen confirmed sales off-line that are all above $50 each. I'm not the only member in this forum, (or in this thread), that knows of those "confirmed" sales either.

Ah, my search was too specific with "1600 Pennsylvania Avenue"

Thank you for correcting me mwheeler27 . I should just bow down to your greatness but I just can't do it .

Yes there are. Just because you don't collect them doesn't mean nobody else does.

He's not in the set because he doesn't fit the theme. Why is this so hard for people to understand?

I'm grateful you're buying into the product, but I take it you won't be tracking down the Reagan?

Your sincerity is astounding .

Know of any other sales of the presidential autos other than this one? I'd hate to miss an eBay sale since I don't know how people title their auctions for this stuff.

1600 Pennsylvania Ave President CUT signature Gerald Rudolph Ford autograph 1/1 | eBay

I'd love to compile accurate information about both products.

Now buying Basketball expecting a presidential cut would be silly .

I'll let you do all the compiling. I did that for 2008's Oval Office. It was fun, but I'm not looking to do it again.

What's interesting is that Ford cut auto brought more than the Buy-it-Now price of this full letter signed by him:

Gerald Ford Superb Conditon Signed Letter Signed - Watergate era | eBay
