But you can't say that because Kobe has 5 and Lebron has 1 that automatically makes him better. Wade has 2 championships, but he's clearly not better than Lebron!

The Reason Lebron Is Better Than Kobe Is Because All Of His Career Stats Are Higher Than Kobe's. and when kobe came in the league he wasn't dominant right away, kobe didn't average over 20 points a game until after his 3rd season in the NBA,
lebrons first 3 year point averages were 20, 27 31 kobe's first 3 year point averages were 7, 15, 19 lebron is the more dominant player and will prove that as time goes on, if they win multiple championships nobody will be able to deny that fact.

From the the standpoint of pure basketball talent, and stats I'd put him in the top 25. As an all around athlete/ human being .....let's see I'm trying to think of the biggest douche athletes of all time..... Right in between Milton Bradley and Terrel Owens.

He today ranks where he ranked yesterday.
Barlkey, Malone & Stockton are not thought of any less because they did not win a championship. And if you want to factor in championships Bill Russell has to be #1. You children like to call people who don't like James' attitude "haters" Mr Russell, the greatest champion in sports history, had more REAL hatred spewed his way in 1 day than you James has had in his entire pampered life.

It is an OPINION! God damn.
I like LeBron, but there are players who came before him that have a full proven career. And I still have 10+ players above him. If you weren't paying attention to the hundred threads, I was rooting for the Heat, so before I get pushed on the LeBron "hater" bandwagon, slow your roll. These discussions are stupid to begin with. Let LBJ finish his career and then we can talk.

Oh and for all the people saying lebron is lower than kobe in ranking, absurd! I got kobe at #7 all time right now and hes still top 3 in the nba right now so he might crack my top 5 all time.

For me, lebron isn't even in my top 50. lebron has a championship and he is a great player, he isn't even better than paul pierce! paul pierce is a great ALL TIME player, he has more championships then lebron, and he had better character! when lebron retires he might be number 2 or not even in the top 50. the list says ALL TIME GREATS! look how i made ALL TIME big. It doesn't say ALL NOT GREATS, it say ALL TIME!

I mean, if Malone and Payton would have won a ring with the Lakers that year, would their rankings have jumped way up even though they went fishing for a title? Same thing with LeBron.
