I'm not going to comment on this specific situation without hearing both sides... but in general, if a person is dissatisfied with the product the receive, they should absolutely have to send the cards back to the original seller before a refund is issued. They are also responsible for their safe delivery back to the seller, just as the seller is responsible for the safe delivery of the cards to the buyer in the first place. I would also never give a partial refund and let the buyer keep the product. Either you're satisfied with the product at the price you agreed to, or you're not. Asking for money back yet being satisfied enough to keep the product is busch league.

To everyones response refferring to the Whitey Ford post. I stated in the beginning of this post that I have had words with people here but never have I had a bad trade or transaction. So please comment on this and not the other which is well over with. Even PSkell commented on the Whitey Ford post against me, and he is now giving his honest opinion based on this transaction and not concerned with the other.

And also I shipped all five cards in penny sleeves inserted in top loaders and in a bubble mailer. The way I always shipped and have never had a claim of damaged cards before.

um were the tops of the toploaders taped or inserted into team bags?

As your stated shipping habits, those cards COULD have been damaged in transit.

wait a second your calling me our when you wont even accept the fact the 5 scans in the pictures are exact matches to the ones you sold me.. This quote concerns me most of all when I told him about the damaged cards
...
Send them back and when I get them I will refund if I agree. I have never had any cards damaged before. yeah there were no covering because they wont slide out of a top loader without persuaion.
If you Agree? I showed you scans and you should of just said aw man im sorry that sucks I should of put tape or a team bag on them so they couldnt slide around. Instead you act like im trying to scan you while im showing you the proof.. So everyone can see here is the scan of the 5 cards I purchased from him. Not sure how you could benefit from bringing this to the eye of the public.. Here is the proof the exact 5 cards I purchased and the damage. If he agrees Ill be more then happy to send them back but none of this MIGHT refund you crap!

Second Chances, Barbara Streisand. Your Whitey Ford Thread diatribe has forever ruined your credibility. When you have no credibility you get no benefit of the doubt. I am going to go out on a limb and say that Atrain will have a story 180 degrees different than yours.....

I agree they could have been damaged, and told him to send them back.... Where is that wrong, if he is refusing to return, what am I suppose to do just let him keep them and give his money back. No offense but scans can be tampered with.
