Top rated seller concern with CMC

As you know, Ebay offers a 20% discount if you are a top rated seller. One of the requirements is that you ship and supply tracking within 1 business day. Does anybody know how to get around with that with an item you sell with CMC cause they do not ship your item within 24 hours, it reg takes 2-3 days.

I think you will have to bite the bullet and have it fall outside of the 1 day tracking. It has to be 90% of your items for the month right? I was planning on listing from COMC to my ebay, but I do now worry about taking a week to get shipping out there. I don't sell a ton so my % would get hit more than the bigger sellers who could take the hit.

you could always call comc and get a better answer, but they might want you to pay for 1 day shipping which would be like $30 or so and I don't think that is worth it.

That is basically what Ebay told me. They said it is your problem, you need to have tracking within 1 business day, doesn't matter if its a drop ship they don't care. So what sux is that if you sell enough on Ebay, selling on ebay with your CMC cards might end up costing you more money, cause 20% discount can be significant since Ebay charges like 10% or something.

Hello, Jacob.
The only way to do that with our system is to have your orders shipped with one of our faster services: Rapid, Priority, or Express. Rapid is the most economical of the three, and ships out within one business day using USPS First Class Mail. USPS generates a tracking number for us when we ship out the item, and at that point an email with that tracking number will be automatically sent to you.

Selling on ebay from COMC does not seem feasible at all. I would cringe at the amount of time it would take for the buyer to get the card. I can see dinged DSR's for shipping time. not a good idea.

I have never had a problem, but of course the cards I will on Ebay from CMC are reg $50+ BV cards so they are shipped securely.

I would never risk selling COMC stock on Ebay. COMC has been extremely slow in shipping in the past month (during the National Promotion) and there is way too much risk of this happening again.

Why not just list it on ebay after you receive it from COMC

I'm not talking about the cards being shipped securely. That I've never had a problem with. It's the shipping time. I would cringe at it taking up to 2 weeks for the buyer to get the card.

That's not the issue. We are talking about selling the cards you are selling and have at COMC on eBay.

Well to go back to the main point, for items you are selling from your CMC account, I think if you change the handling time to 5 days or so, that item will not qualify for the 20%, but it will not hurt your top rated seller stats.
