I wasn't sure about them at first because of what people started saying at first and people can say what they want about me for saying this but I like heroes of sport i've got a few nice hits from the breaks i've been in and when I email them they respond right back.I buy into other breaks and other companies products but most of them don't wanna help when you contact them and I can't count how many time i've got a $150 -200 box will a auto of someone i've never heard of and the box has $10-20 worth of cards. If they are a scam and their product sucks can anyone on here tell me a company that every case they make has atleast 1 nice hit, will respond fast, and will go to the differant people breaking their product and giveaway stuff to people in the breaks just to say thanks like i've seen them do?

Would you be saying the same thing if you actually bought a whole box? It's a bit different if you buy into a group break and actually get the 1 good card that might get you a few bucks.

I should probably be more clear as well since I am vilifying a company. It isn't that I think HOS is a 'scam' per se. I don't think they are going to collect everyones money and split although judging by their investors and fanboys I also wouldn't be surprised.

It is those same fanboys and investors though that tells me that they ARE shady. Packing out product after release. Their handpicked breaker magically pulling the best hits while they are in the room no less. One of the investors buying a spot in that same break and what do ya know, pulls the case hit. The points structure for products that may or may not be real because the company as far as I've seen has refused all requests for the items COA #'s.

I will also say for the interest of full disclosure that I can't see ever buying this type of product. I also can't see ever participating in a group break for the simple reason that I just don't trust many people. Money and expensive items have a way of corrupting people. I know it isn't true of all breakers. I've seen nothing but good things about some. If I ever was to try one I would probably look towards Houdini.

I did buy one box and it wasn't bad got a trout and harper graded rookie plus a 1959 topps Bob Clemente PSA 7.5 but I won't buy a box anymore since I know the product is best for group breaks now.

Sorry but anyone buying and breaking this product is about as smart as a clam.

These two jokers repack product copying BG's Leaf Best of Products.

I wonder at what point do the major card companies try to file some kind of lawsuit against these types of products?

On what grounds? No different than a used car dealer. They buy product on the open market, put it in a fancy box and raise the price. No crime in that part at all. It just so happens slimeballs are running the company and red flags pop up every time it is broken. I have not seen these types of threads around the 'Best Of' product even though most people don't like it either.

I haven't really been following who Boomo is. Is he an investor in HoS?

No, he is the group breaker that they handpicked. As far as I know he has no vested interest in the actual company other than maybe discounted product.

Based on that info, he should be exempt from winning ANY prizes. It just forces questions to be raised that could be easily avoided if he weren't a part of any prize drawing.

Agreed and tons of people including myself have tried to explain that to him. He does not agree. Nor does he see an issue with a HOS investor and representative being in the room while the product is broken. Not only that, the investor bought some of the spots in the break and whatayaknow pulled the case hit. Whodathunkit? Keep in mind this is a limited supply handpacked product. Not too hard to know where the good stuff is.

Yes and heres a even better fun fact, they are still making boxes meaning if you bought a box before the last one was made you had no chance at the cards they pack after.

But dont worry 1 out of every 15 cases seem to be ok, but boomo would never tell you this he is not the same puppet show. But dont worry you where never going to get that 1 in 15 case anyhow. I am sure it will land in the right hands, who ever can get them the most hits on youtube to grab more suckers.

Geez..well I have never been burned by this Boomo character but from reading the random horrible private messages he's sent I figured he was just an a-hole at times but this is just....stupid beyond belief to participate in anything like this. It'd be like a big wig on the Lottery company winning a fat check....something sure stinks and I don't think it's Boomo's bird poopy chair.

I really like watching Michael Bay movies from time to time. From every indicator, he's one of the princes of schlock cinema and a bad film maker. Everything in his movies is flammable and explosive. He orders all his on-set cameras with the optional shake-and-jiggle-to-avoid-a-clear-picture filter. He can't find a lead actor that doesn't whine, scream, and emote incorrectly through every talking scene. His sense of humour is that of a 6 year old from the 1980's with a coke habit. He knows absolutely nothing about scripting females in his movies....shall i go on?

Michael bay is not a good film maker. HoS, Boomo, and whatever they stand for are not good for this hobby.

We can still like them. Enjoy them. Heck, we can even give them our money. But let's not pretend they're any good at this.

lobo_hacker
Wow love your view on movies maybe you should be a film critic.

Never thought of Michael Bay in that kind of way and thanks for the input.
