I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but anyone else excited that Topps has Kenny Lofton under contract this year? His Gypsy and Tribute autos are stunning. First time ever that Lofton is signing with Topps. I don't PC specific players, but I could see myself starting a Lofton certified auto collection.

Those of you from Cleveland will remember that Lofton was a great signer in person, but you would only get "KL". Glad to see his full signature on the Topps stuff!

Just snagged a Lofton Gypsy Queen for a decent price...those Tributes are nice, but you just can't beat GQ since they didn't encase Tribute like last year.

Swisher's starting to get it going, I think.

I think the bats woke up again! Reynolds, Swisher, and even Yan Gomes!

Even better, Chris Sale better get a suspension after his bush league crap.

While I'm at it, solid line from Bauer today in the top half of a double-header at AAA Columbus:

6 innings, 4 hits, 1 earned, 3 walks, 9 K's.

Looking for rare late 90's Cleveland Indians cards- if price is right.

Also possibly interested in current Indians (Not crazy about current card designs though)

So, now that we are a few games into the Home season, who has been able to get out to one?

I was at the second home game (14-1 drubbing by the Yankees  ) but i rebounded when i attended yesterday's win versus the Sox.

On a side note, i'd just like to say that if Giambi were 8 years younger, then we would have won that game. But sadly he's not...

Just got home from my first Columbus Clippers game of the season...Kluber pitched well, but they lost after Jerry Gil gave up nine runs on twelve pitches. Pretty solid auto haul, though, if anyone wants to see it.

How do you give up 9 runs on 12 pitches lol, that is beyond laughable!

I thought the same thing when Giambi hit both of those fly-outs. During his steroid days he probably puts those exact pitches out by twenty feet. Would love to just have him as a bench coach or minor league instructor. I think Cord Phelps would be more use on the team. Glad to see Hagadone back up, I still like him.

Also glad to see Santana get a pinch-hit. Glad it wasn't a major injury and the same goes for Bourn, hopefully he is ok!

Anyone following Tyler Naquin?

He's had a very good start at Carolina so far, batting .381 through 10 games with 6 extra base hits. He should be getting the promotion to AA soon!

Naquin and Lindor both started off on fire. Gotta like what we're seeing from them.

Lindor is cooling off, but Naquin continues to roll. I would expect this since Naquin is a few years older. Either way, I like what I'm seeing. Wish I could see the Carolina team in person, they are loaded with good young talent.

I'm hoping both will be up in Akron by the All-Star break; I can make the trip to see them.

Also, not sure if you guys saw, but the mustached wonder, Eric Berger was traded to Houston today in exchange for Christopher Wallace. Berger was the man and is the guy in my avatar. In honor of his time in the organization...

So...can we option Ubaldo to AAA or trade him or something? Good lord, he's awful.

1.2 innings, five walks in one innings...Ubaldo Jimenez is complete AAA trash.

I think the Ubaldo experiment went well tonight.

In fairness, he stuck out David Ross twice on two beautiful breaking balls that were further into the strike zone than a fastball that had been called a strike earlier in the inning. That doesn't excuse the wheels coming off afterward, but he already seems mentally fragile enough as it is without that happening.

As mediocre to bad as Ubaldo has been, its amazing/sad that the Indians are still winning that trade by a wide margin.

Five walks in one inning...I don't care what the strike zone looks like, that's absolutely pathetic.

I thought the same thing but he is never going to get borderline strikes when being as wild as he was.....Just AWFUL....and WTF is he doing throwing all those off speed pitches when he has an above average fast-ball. GRRRRRR. This guy is the biggest one hit wonder maybe in the history of the game.
