also if people are so worried about the leaking of information regarding potential buy low books then I'm sure the admins of this forum could create a subforum that requires a certain number of posts to view or post in, but I'm sure that most of that information would end up being posted in the regular forum anyway so...

It's all speculation anyway, take anything anybody says with a grain of salt as we are not all Nostradamus. I'd venture to say I'm closer to Nostradumbass

No. Mostly CGC forum and Mycomicshop. The only things I sell on eBay are the ones that really don't have that big of an uptick or I think are going to drop fast. I don't have my workbook in front of me, but probably 40-50% of that was from WW Philly. Look at Batman #7, Batgirl #9, and Super Spider-Man #1. Those are easy issues to find at comic cons for cover price or less. You make roughly $3 cash or $4 credit on each of those. I think I had 70-90 (I can't remember) copies of Batman #7. That was $200+ alone. Third Eye Comics or something had boxes on boxes on boxes of Superior Spider-Man #1 for like $2. All of those were bought by Friday and sold to the website by Monday-Tuesday.

Then all the WW Philly variants (I wasn't standing at the door). I asked some girl (I'm young and not creepy... I think ) before I left who was buying them for $5 if I could buy all of them for $10 each from her and she said yeah she didn't care it was a PT job.

Edit: Oh I also shop for variants. Like a 1:20 variant that had a retail price of $40! That's a ridiculously high price. So I took preorders. I got hundreds of copies of PP11 for -$0.09 each! I sold a bunch for $1.40 each or something to MCS. I am selling some on forums just to make room, but I plan on holding out until #12 when MCS will bump the prices up to $2.

Just a heads up on the Marvel .1 etc... books. They don't get newsstand distribution so I think there is a strong secondary market for some of them.

Well, the Strain #1 Variant 9.8 was re-run and this time only ended at $166 - about a $130 negative difference from last time. Still, not bad for a $1 book!

Only if the show is a hit. It seems if they aren't the bottom drops quick.

That is still 166% increase of investment if I may say so it's really NOT bad

Sunday has a lot of auctions ending and so we typically get a plethora of results that are a bit different from the rest of the week, Here's what I'm seeing this Sunday:

Punisher Kills The Marvel Universe #1 @ $15+ & 6 bids.
Peter Panzerfaust #3 @ $15+ & 9 bids.
Image Expo : What's Next? #1 @ $15+ & 3 bids.
Deadpool & Death 1998 Annual @ $16+ & 6 bids.
Deadpool #1 1997 @ $16+ & 3 bids.
Amazing Spider-Man #410 @ $17+ & 5 bids.

And tons more crazy results here

Five ghosts has seen a new lease of life after the ongoing announcement. There has been a lot more sales activity at ebay. Prices wise, still very little movement due to USD0.99 auctions still available. However, at least these are getting bids now and once they are sold, five ghosts should move to a higher price floor for the regular #1.

After news broke of nebula's appearance in the GOTG movie, her first appearance in avengers 257 has been snatched up. Yup, 8 BINs in one day alone. All grades, as long as they are cheap, are gone.

Here is a small snapshot of the prices.

Such ridiculousness.

And speaking of which, you aren't anybody unless you own one of these:

Superman Man of Steel #18 CGC 9.8 @ $202 & 11 bids. Get those copies graded now!

There are two copies now on ebay both getting some good $$. I think discussion on one of the forums has caused MOS #18 mania. Check out the prices on the non graded copies too. They are like $10 to $15 per.

The one that you linked was particularly shady. Most of the bidders have over 40% bid history with the seller. The top bidder is at 100%. That does not look good for legitimacy checks.
