Who cares about Profar now, that's a 20 dollar card at best. If they wanted to blow up the checklist at least put in Fernandez. Now we have 2 Profars, probably 2 Bundy's, and 2 Machado's which isn't bad but still two different chromes of a guy in the same year.

Still new to the Bowman game. I've collected the rainbow of Micah Johnson from 2013 Bowman, except for that elusive superfractor. I'm wondering about Micah Johnson and Josh Phegley and their current/future potential for being in Bowman product. To my knowledge the only Topps product Phegley has been in was Topps Pro Debut. I realize his last few months haven't blown the doors off, but as an Indiana Hoosier fan seeing these guys on Chrome would be great for my PC. Is there any hope for that this year or in the future?

2012 Bowman Chrome had 11 pitchers and 30 hitters. Right now we have a breakdown of 15 pitchers / 13 hitters.

Quite the turnaround.

I dont understand everyone's hate for this product this year. WE ALL KNOW THIS IS THE WEAKEST BOWMAN PRODUCT ALMOST EVERY YEAR. OF COURSE this product is going to be weak compared to others, what else do you expect?

Also, just because the autos suck now does not mean they will in the future. As someone else alluded to earlier, Jose Fernandez was one of the worst auto pulls from 2011 Bowman Draft - now he is the highest selling by far (I think Baez is second, and it is about a 30-40% drop). It seems like the only people who are bitching and moaning are those breakers who were hoping for this to be loaded with 10 $40 base chrome autos, which IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN with Bowman Chrome.

But see ... you're not taking it the necessary next step. For a product to be successful in the short term and the long term, it needs to have appeal at all times. The problem with 2013 Bowman Chrome is not the potential, it's the now.

And when the now sucks, breakers simply won't break (or they'll break this year, lose big, and not break next year). So while you say "who cares if there's no value", I say "I care, because it's gonna be very hard for me to find the singles I want, since thousands of Bowman Chrome cases will go unopened"
