Love it- "heating up at the right tribe". Is that a Freudian slip or is that
a saying I don't know about?

It's the Astros for goodness sakes. But we won, that's all that matters

I want the Tigers to wrap this up soon, but I sure hope you guys get a wildcard slot. Indians have earned it.

Coming from a Tigers fan even! Woop!

I'll tell you what though, I would really love if we could take out those 19 games against the Tigers. Absolutely owned us this year.

Indians have by far the easiest remaining schedule for any of the contenders and should make one of the WC spots without much problem. Yankees are hanging on by a thread, Orioles need to get hot but have a tough schedule. Royals have a remote chance if they win all of their games. The last spot will probably be Tampa or Texas. Should be fun to watch play out.

You apparenlty aren't a Cleveland fan or know anything about Cleveland sports history. This is all the more reason on why they probably won't make it.

I am a Royals fan. I am aware of some of the difficulties that Cleveland has faced with their sports teams over the years. I am still thinking that Francona will steer the ship in at least playoff wise.

I won't lie to you though... I am hoping you are right and somehow the Royals sneak in, but I don't see this as the most likely scenario.

I think they'll make it too, but you never know. My money is on the Tribe to get #1 WC and Texas #2.

Tribe is now in #2 position thanks to the Royals. Would have been nice if the O's could have won that marathon.

I'm just so expecting the Indians to pull a Cleveland and blow it.

He just saved the Indians' season, no doubt.

Just announced 21000 in attendance out of a 43000 capacity park. WTF??? Hell if they were an hour closer I'd go to some of their games.

Chris Perez almost made that happen, again. The guy is not worth having on the team. Whatever happens this season, they need to drop him.

Larry Dolan, that's why.

I agree whole-heartedly...he HAS to be gone after this year. Bring somebody in or give Cody Allen a shot.

Another win keeps it rolling! Magic number is four right now for the Wild Card...Masterson looked good, Salazar pitched well...and there was an announced crowd of 31k. Let's go to Minnesota and lock it up!

agree, as much as i hate the indians during the season when tigers play them...its would be nice to see them make the playoffs and take out the rays in the one game playoff.

Then I would love to hear people call the AL Central the weakest division in Baseball...

I know you can play the "what if" game all you want, but can you imagine if the Indians had played even halfway decent against the Tigers this year? Would've set up for a helluva finish in the division race if the Tribe had won two or three more games in the head-to-head...meaning, if Chris Perez didn't exist, this would've been even closer.

Why do they keep putting Perez in?!?!?!?

He needs to go, I feel like I've been saying this for months now. Dude is awful, he doesn't want to be there so get rid of him Cleveland.

I hope Chris Perez falls out of the plane on the way back to Cleveland.
