Default Rangers, Rays, Indians....Who get's in and who doesn't?!

Boy oh boy, what a great weekend this should be.

The Rays, Rangers and Indians are all vying to get into the playoffs and only ONE game separates the three.

Who do you believe get's in?

Or maybe you're like me who is hoping that ALL three end up tied!

I'm with you in hoping for the three way tie. I do hope the Indians end up being the ones who advance to the real playoffs though.

If I had to guess I would say Texas doesn't make it in, Cleveland is playing the best they have play all year & the Rays have Archer going later tonight. If Texas can win out the rest of the series with the Angels I would not be surprised if all 3 tie

You guys remember a couple of years ago and that magical "Game 162" night?

I really want to see something like that again!

Hoping for the 3 way tie. This would've been FAR better with just the 1 wildcard though.

Cleveland is the lock IMO. I don't really care which of the other 2 go.

Cleveland and Tampa can both afford to lose one game and still be guaranteed at least a one game playoff. I don't think it's asking much for either team to finish 1-1. Texas is the only team left that cannot afford a loss.

Rays are in a dogfight with the Jays right now and Texas has a 3 run lead over the Angels. If Cleveland loses after the rain delay could have a 3 way tie with one day to go.

Tomorrow Cleveland has Ubaldo on the hill and Texas has Darvish. Tampa will have Price ready to go on normal rest for the 1 game playoff, which is why I definitely like their chances. I'm actually thinking about putting in a Rays world series bet this weekend, I think they've got a good chance to take down Boston if they get in and win the 1 game playoff.

They mentioned it on espn yesterday, I am not sure how they determine who is team 1, but team 2 and team 3 play one game then the winner plays team 1 in the actual WC game.

3 way tie is: Rays at Indians, winner gets in, then loser at Rangers, winner gets in.

Anyway you look at it this will be a HUGH advantage for the team that wins the best overall record in the league, they will most likely start the ALDS against the WC #3 starter!

I'm not sure which is right info, but the rangers have the tie breaker over the rays due to the season series. At least that is what the Rangers broadcast said today. I don't know about the Indians as they didn't mention them.

Head to head regular season tiebreakers only gives the winner home field, not the WC spot.

I was at the Rays-Jays game today, love seeing meaningful baseball in September. Hopefully my Jays help the Indians and Rangers tomorrow.

Looks like the Tribe is going to take the lead in the WC race with (1) game left, really surprised at how TB has folded this last week, but I'm not complaining would love to see Cleveland in the ALDS.

Oh boy, it's going to be VERY interesting tomorrow.

If the rays and rangers both win then regardless what happens to the Indians....all three teams will at least have a one game playoff.

Should be tons of fun!

Umm...what? Indians are a game up on the Rays/Rangers and own the first Wild Card spot right now. Win-and-they're-in. For the three team playoff, the Indians need to lose in your situation.

Indians are playing 2 more games at least no matter what happens. I'm thinking TB is gonna fade.

No. If Tampa wins and Texas loses or vice versa how would Cleveland play two games?

Tomorrow, the final regular season game. Then the Wild Card game. 1 +1 = 2
Kidding, I'm sure you weren't considering the last regular season game.
