Default UBALDO JIMENEZ - What a stud!

13k's - WOW.
I think our pitching is back and I see a LONG playoff run in the Cleveland Indians future. The future is NOW - 2013

Glad he's getting back to his old form. 2010 was a really fun time to watch him.

Ubaldo has been good, but with Salazar on that pitch count, even if they get in, the rest of their rotation is backend/mid rotation starters. Would be hard to match up vs Boston who has Buchholz, Peavy, Lester and Lackey.

Salazar does not have a pitch count any more.

I'm quite a bit more worried about the Boston offense

Every year we go through this, the best teams never win. It's the team who gets hot t the right time.

2010-giants

2011-cardinals

2012-giants

The Indians are hot and I can see a deep playoff run by them well see

I am a huge Braves fan, but on the AL side I am pulling for the Indians all the way.

Yea they're really good against teams under .500.

I'd be curious to see what their record is against playoff teams. I know they won 1 out of 7 against the Red Sox and only 4 out of 19 against the Tigers...

yeah...who cares. Throw the records away when it comes to the postseason.

Almost looked like a flash of the Ubaldo we saw in Colorado. Very nice performance!

Since the AS Break Cleveland starters have the 3rd best ERA in baseball at 3.21 (1. Dodgers 2. Tigers) and 7th lowest bullpen ERA at 3.02.

With Masterson in the bullpen now and Salazar no longer on a pitch count I feel good about our rotation. I'm more concerned about our offense which tends to just shut down at times.

Indians have a 36-52 record against clubs with .500-or-better records. (Take out the 15 losses in 19 games to the Tigers who absolutely owned us this year and we were 32-37)
