Considering people pay $2000 for a 2012 NT RPA of an unproven football player nowadays, I'd consider that a steal :special:

I'm no expert on these kinds of cards, but the thing is I doubt you ever see one of these come up on eBay or the market anytime soon, so I don't think there's any "well the last one sold at XXX amount, so it's worth XXX amount" haha. One of the best minds ever known to man will never go down in value, but I'd want to hold onto that card forever and show it off!

for only $500 more you could have gotten this

Ryan Tannehill RC Superfractor Auto Patch 1 1 | eBay

Let's see Einstein post the 24th best QB rating in the NFL!

That's a great deal! I would have asked for more if I were the original owner! Awesome card, again.

Just figured I'd reply to this as someone that would probably pay $2K for some rookie - not really directed to your actual comment

The OP has an amazing card. That flat out can't be denied.

At the same time I'd imagine there are some people, or at least one (me), that wouldn't have any interest in owning it (at least not at what it would cost to own it) - I'd much rather have an Andrew Luck NT or whatever as opposed to something signed by Einstein. If I had something like this item I'd only be looking to sell it.

I have no other justification for it. I don't even know why I'm posting. I'm an outlier I would imagine. I find history very interesting. I don't really have any personal need to own a part of it. I'm odd.

It's an amazing historical piece, and definitely a crazy "talking point", but I can't be the only person that wouldn't really ever consider purchasing something that wasn't "sports" related right?

No? Nevermind.

Either way it's pretty damn cool. Kudos to the OP for adding it to his collection.

Money comes and goes, a shot at a card like that doesnt come around. You wont miss the money. You would surely miss that card.

Awesome card, thanks for sharing. Now put that in your avatar and show that baby off.

Wow that is awesome! That's the kind of thing you lock in a safety deposit box for 100 years with a letter to your great great grandchildren that says "You're Welcome"
