Doesn't sound like a "joke" value. Richardson is a bum, and RG3's values have taken a hit.

Actually, that seems pretty good given what each player has become. The card was certainly worth more when you submitted it but currently, seems on the low side of fair.

Yea I would think it would be worth more if Richardson wasn't on it.

It's almost impossible to put a "market value" price on 1/1s. Remember, the crazy prices you see on ebay are due to the buyers, not the card.

And given the play of both RG3 and Richardson, it doesn't sound like too terrible of an offer. Especially since the Russell Wilson/Nick Toon 1/1 auto book sold for less than that.

Well what they value the card at frankly doesn't matter if they are replacing it with another high-end card.

This card is worth less than a solo RG3 shield auto because Richardson is on it.

Yes, but Richardson is awful and that messes up the value of the card severely.

Not that RGIII is Joe Montana, but think about, what's worth more, an auto of Joe Montana, or a dual auto of Joe Montana and Mark Sanchez?

Justin Blackmon and Trent Richardson aren't all that different. Both have potential. Both can't stay on the field (either by choice with Blackmon, or by crappy play with Richardson). Laundry tag 1/1 isn't quite as nice as a logo 1/1...but both tags have the NFL logo on them.

$500 is fair.

These are the two I could find to be most comparable.

If a Luck 1/1 auto only goes in the 800s (I get it, there's no shield), I don't see why a dual auto 1/1 (which historically go for less) should be anywhere near that, especially when both players are coming off bad seasons, and Richardson isn't even on the Browns anymore.

Another dual with Blackmon (who's prices have taken a tumble very similar to Richardson) went for less than 500, and it was graded a 9, which is pretty tough for Five Star books.

Pretty much nailed the current price. RG3 has failed big time and richardson pffft. Be glad they gave you $500.

Those are totally different cards, There is a Blackmon- Griffin shield up for 1,499.00 LIKE MY REDEMPTION. I think Griffin has a lot upside next year.

Who cares what someone is asking for it?

I could ask 5 grand for a Russell Wilson Base Rookie. That doesn't mean I'll get it.

You were given a value on the card RIGHT NOW. Topps isn't going to give you more than they think it's worth because you think he has upside.

Sadly Topps doesn't predict upside. And he doesn't have much upside
