Default How do you display/store your cards?

Looking for a new way to display and or store my cards. All of my good stuff I put in magnetics, that gets expensive but it looks great. Then I have pelican cases with cut rows of foam to hold my cards in. I'm looking for something new possibly a nice wooden box with rows or storage ares. What do you guys do? Can I see pics to get some ideas?

This is how I do it. Me and my dad refinished a library card catalog, works awesome, they fit 800ct boxes. Almost like it was made for storing cards...which it was. lol

This is just the beginning, I am going to be framing my newly completed Demaryius Thomas rainbow, and adding some other shelving.

I saw a guy on here, I think he may have been "phinzphan" or something, he had a GREAT display.

Dang that's amazing. May I ask where you bought that at? I'd love to refinish something like that to keep all my stuff in.

I believe we found this on craigslist. People are getting rid of the old file card catalogs, and going all online obviously. It was in pretty rough shape, I think we gave like 25 bucks.

If only they had craigslist out here lol. Looked on eBay and they are almost a grand looks like you got a steal lol but I love that idea makes it easy to manage. My pelican cases are awesome but it's hard to separate cards in there and I hate the shoeboxes lol

My wife is a Library/Book lover and I showed this to her and she got all happy and wants us to get one even if I am storing my cards in it. Nothing close to us though so we will have to be on the lookout for a while.

That may be the best way ever I've seen someone do card storage. Keep it classy!

Still in progress ... never get time to work on it any more though!

Started simple!

put up a few shelves.....

Some jersey frames... actually have a bunch of jersey's I need to put in the empty ones.. and get some new frames for other walls....

Add a bunch of cards.....

Add a messy desk and a ton of stacks of cards that you have no idea how to categorize...

thats how I display em!

I can flip the light on when I want to see them, and they aren't in my wife's way. in fact, she hasn't seen my cards in so long that she thought I got rid of them..

I love the idea of the little shelving. Another thing I would do if we didn't have so many earthquakes here in japan.

I like mine to be seen. Made all these myself. I actually have another case up now, a two row above the one row case that I moved all my Auto and Jersey cards in to. Sad part is I think I'm going to need to build another big case for the lower end stuff already because that tallest one is nearly full now.
