No need for sarcasam mr "low-end PWE trading" thread maker. LeBron's free agency is huge news right now, it's also more special when you have a ton of $$$ invested in him!!!!!

I also have one card bigger than the LeBron/MJ BGS 10 but I'll hold that for another day

And yet, I still couldn't care less. It wouldn't matter to me if he blew his knee out and you lost thousands. Please, keep trying to impress me Almighty D Wade Collector. And thanks for taking time out of your day to research my threads, I must be pretty cool.

not necessary, and i'll leave it to someone else to point out the fact that sometimes cards in general are more special when you don't think about how much "$$$" you have invested in them...

Is that low end PWE trading you're talking about basketball related? I'd love to do some poverty trades.

Whether we admit it or not, I think pretty much every would enjoy knowing that their collection/card is worth more than they paid for it. Yes, I know that we enjoy this as a hobby. However, I feel that sports cards is one of those categories where hobby/investment go hand in hand. For example, a ton of guys out there do stocks as a hobby, real estate as a hobby and upgrading cars as a hobby. Those are all investments as well as a hobby. It's hard to consider anything that you are constantly dropping a ton of $$$ into not somewhat an investment. Anyone that doesn't "care" about the financial part of our hobby must not be too stable financially or just lacking common sense and financial literacy. Like a dude said in the $7000/box group break, "Rich idiot is an oxymoron, pretty damn hard for an idiot to become rich" lol
I'm far from rich, but I am trying to elevate myself as far as possible. I'm still a young dude at 21 years old

I've gotten many high-end LeBron rookies at a fraction of it's current market value, hence my prices always being very flexible when I decide to sell. I call it breaking bread with fellow collectors. If he was to "blow out his knee", I would probably break even, which I am cool with

Isn't a stock "more special" when you buy at the right time? Isn't a house "more special" when you buy at a good price?
The feeling of getting a great deal > the feeling of overpaying = FACT

Just saying what no one will admit, for whatever reason

The guy that posted in my thread decided to leave a wise guy comment, he obviously is an unhappy guy with his sarcasm and negativity. He could have simply and nicely post that the link was already posted, maybe even provide the link to the existing thread for me to continue on. Instead, he decides to troll the thread plus he's a low end guy. Don't mean to be a jerk, just want everyone to elevate their collection over time.

I remember their being a member on here who got told that his collection has "no heat"
What he did was elevate his collection, instead of crying, and got a ton of awesome memorabilia. He took pictures of everything, posted it and it was awesome. Love seeing guys move up, that's the goal!!!

Sorry for being politically incorrect, I'd rather use common sense

Just stop. You look like a donkeyhole. YOU could have done your own research and seen it in a few of the already existing Lebron threads. And who cares if he deals with low end, his opinion is worth as much as anyone else's. Beautiful Lebron cards you have. Ugly common sense you have.

I'm a debt free 21 year old, without common sense?
I have a company that I'm building from scratch and its working out pretty damn good finally. Getting into real estate for 2015, so my success hasn't even begun yet. I want everyone to elevate themselves, don't need a guy who's 10 years older than me replying with negativity in my thread. There are two ways to say something, the nice way and the rude way. Everything is getting built from scratch, including my collection. Hell, common sense bought my collection and will allow me to capitalize when I decide to sell. Two types of guys in our world, guys who lose and guys who win. Pick one

I apologize for being born in the 90's, its sort of a new generation. Lack of common sense and financial literacy will make you live like a slave in today's world. Anyone who is even a tiny bit successful will completely agree with that statement.

you may be successful and have a great collection, but you def come across as arrogant and know-it-all . the only silver lining here is that you're only 21, so maybe you'll mature a bit and look back in a few years and realize that it's not very nice to be so condescending , esp on a message board, where it looks even sillier.

I told you that you should stop. You couldn't. You have shown your true colors and they are ugly. Try not to be so arrogant and elitist. Anybody can be financially rich, but that doesn't mean jack if you are a poor human being.

I'm debt free, am NOT 21, and don't have any LeBron cards. I was not born in the 90's but it WAS my favorite decade. I'm confused about what my status is based on this. I know I'm not SUPER-BALLA like the OP but I think since I am debt free I am higher than bottom of the barrel. Can someone please help?
