next fox and the nhl are going to make a streak across your screen to find the puck.

that is pretty bad though. doesn't soccer already have revolving ads on the field or they did? I know baseball inserts different ads to the back grounds (behind homeplate) as well to the outfields in some stadiums.

maybe someone will team up w/the nfl to have a "banner" placed at the end of the ball so you see an ad each time the ball is thrown (just like a plane flyover with the banner ads)

If any of this actually happens on the national level it would absolutely suck. The NFL already makes enough money.

I hope I didn't just give someone the idea to do this. I guess when the NFL is Flag football in the next 5-8 years they can also put patches and ads on the flags.
