Default Dallas Cowboys contract status who do you sign?

Well we all know that the Cowboys have a bunch of good players that are set to be a free agent in 2015. So my question is who do you think we keep, and who do you think we let walk. Keep in mind that we may just now be getting out of cap hell that jerry put us in a few years ago when he decided to pay big money to players that had only one good year. I am just gonna list the free agents that are more notable. Dez Bryant, Demarco Murray, Bruce Carter, Rolando McClain, Anthony Spencer, Dwayne Harris, Ronald Leary, Doug Free, Justin Durant, Sterling Moore, Cole Beasley, and Lance Dunbar. Three of our key linebackers are gonna be free agents I think it's a must that we keep two of them, and I would prefer McClain, and Durant. Let Carter walk if he wants big money. I'm 99.9% sure Jerry will never let Dez hit the free market, he will have a new contract no matter what. After the year Murray is having so far I think he is gonna price himself out of a new contract with Dallas, so I don't see us resigning him, and I don't think Joseph Randle is the answer either. I see us drafting another RB, or picking up a decent RB in free agency next year. Dwayne Harris is a special teams stud, and we haven't had a good returner in years, he is an outstanding returner, a good gunner, and the best blocker on the team, he also makes plays on offense when the ball gets thrown to him; so I say he gets a new contract with Dallas. I think they let Free walk if he wants big money, and slide Martin to RT resign Leary and move Bernardeu to RG. Anthony Spencer is gone after this year. Sterling Moore stays with Dallas. Beasley is gone let the WR they got last year in the draft step up to his spot to play the slot. I think Jason Garret gets a new contract and stays with Dallas a few more years, and Rod Marinelli gets a new contract, but I'm not sure if he stays with Dallas as is loyalty is with Lovie Smith, so I look for him to be gone after this year unless jerry offers him a butt load of money to stay with the Cowboys. Well there you have it folks, this is my opinion on what I think will happen next year with Dallas. It would really suck to watch Murray play for another team, but you just can't offer everyone big contracts, that's how you end up getting in cap hell by paying everyone big money for one good season. Dez is the only player that I can see paying big money to. I would also love to see Sean Lee, Rolando McClain, and Durant or Carter, on the field together next year that would be awesome.

Here is my opinion on what happens:

Dez signs a friendly contract like Tyron
DeMarco gets franchise tagged unless Dallas can get him a 4 year 24 mil deal
Dwayne Harris gets a 2 year 3.5 mil deal
Rolando McClain gets a 3 year 10 mil deal
Bruce Carter gets an offer but leaves
Durant comes back on a one year deal
Free comes back on a two year deal

Dallas takes a CB in the first two rounds next year in the draft for sure

Still have 3/4 of a season to go...but here's how I see it now: they will resign McClain and whoever comes cheaper between Durant and Carter, presumably Duarant. Dez will get a huge deal, there is no chance Jerry would let him leave. Cowboys already offered Murray a 4 year deal worth more than any RB got in FA last year, can't believe he didn't take it. They won't franchise a RB and pay him something like 9 mill a year, they will either get a deal done that's reasonable for the team or let him walk. I hope Jerry learned his lesson from Barber.

You also have to look at the option on Melton's deal, do they keep him around next year and start looking at Brandon Carr's contract. His cap hit will be something like $13 million, which is too much to be paying him. Think they bring Moore back for sure and draft a CB in the top 3 rounds.

Dez is re-signed, and yes it is team friendly.
DeMarco-a lot of people don't know this about him, but he's a VERY humble player/person. Wouldn't be surprised if he wants a bonus deal with a lower salary.
Dwayne Harris gets a 2 year 3.5 mil deal-agreed
Rolando McClain gets a 3 year 10 mil deal-not sure. Thinking 2 year 5 Mil.
Bruce Carter gets an offer but leaves-Agreed
Durant comes back on a one year deal-Agreed
Free comes back on a two year deal-Nope, out of here

Dunbar is let go. J.Jones is a fan of J. Randle's, and Randle is a LOT better than people think. He's just not an EVERY down back. He's a 3rd down back that can pick up chunks of yardage. He's had a 42 yard and a 39 yard rush called back to penalties this year or he'd be over 7 yards/carry.

I think the Cowboys' priority should be keeping that O-line in place and retaining Murray and Dez. The linebackers should be fairly cheap to keep besides Carter.

I know my English, however I didn't feel like taking the time to review my sentence structure, run-ons, or comma splices. Don't read it if it bothers you!

I think Carter will be the cheapest to keep between the LB's. His production over the course of his rookie contract was average at best. I would love to see Lee, McClain, and Durant next year. Maybe having McClain at the MLB position, Lee can move to the Weak side and it would help him not get hurt so easily. I think McClain has the bigger body for that position, and he is able to take on the bigger guys on the line.

I do see Dallas taking a CB in the first two rounds for sure. They will probably go defense the first two rounds. My guess would be edge rusher like a Randy Gregory in the first round, and a CB in round two. I think Tyrone Crawford finally found a spot at the 3 tech, he reminds me of a smaller hatcher. He is quick and strong just like hatcher is, and Crawford will probably get stronger as the season goes on. With that said we all know Marinelli likes rotation, and depth on the D-line, but if Melton don't start producing they let him walk, and let another guy like Bishop, or Coleman, come in on 3rd down. Remember when they said the plan for Martin was to eventually move to RT? With that said I see Free gone, and definitely resigning Leary, especially the way Leary has been playing. No way Murray gets the tag, that's way to much money for one good year. Don't get me wrong I think Murray is a great player, and I said it from the beginning that Murray would be a great player, but a lot of that, and his big yards are because of our monster O-line. I do think Murray realizes that to. Jerry can't sign everyone, at least one key player will go sooner the later, and I see Murray on that list. Just look at Seattle, they're going to be in trouble soon. Wilson, Lynch, Okung, Thomas, Chancellor, Wagner, and Sherman, are either do to receive big money, or are already receiving big money. There is noway they will be able to sign all of them without being in salary cap hell. Someone will have to be the odd man out.

Don't forget the cap is increasing each year over the next few years.

1.) Dez will sign a big deal
2.) Keep the line strong
3.) Hate to say it but if Murray wants big bucks let him walk (Yes, I realize that I'm dreaming but if Murray is gone I'd love to see Gurley with a star on his helmet)

I agree with everything, but Free is the weakest link Goodbye.
