The Exquisite xrc commands close to $1k. I personally wouldn't touch his cards with a 50 ft pole, so hats off if anyone else thinks this is a great price... how much do you see his flawless stuff fetching?

Totally agree, but since it hasn't been hit right away, obviously it's not listed too low, this stuff is going to tank if that's the case

Clearly that had to be the best hit of that box, and if that can't bring in 350, then I don't even know what to say

Considering that I got 200 bucks for a base Topps auto of his earlier this year, 1000 for a Flawless auto isn't really all that surprising.

There is an Andrew Luck encapsulated gold Autograph for $300 buy it now that hasn't sold instantly either. It doesn't seem like the pricing for singles is going to be anywhere near basketball for this product.

Well, for Johnny. I think that is either the third or fourth tier auto despite being the encapsulated card.

Rookie Patch Auto > Rookie Auto > Rookie Inscriptions > Rookie Flawless Signatures?

Not sure, though.

I sincerely hope you're joking. The only difference between this set and the same ones in Flawless Basketball is that there was no "RC" designation tag in the top left. Panini obviously did this to create a false sense of the amount of actual true rookie cards there were of each player. Same thing they did to the Patch/Auto set and various other subsets in the Football release. They knew the demand for football would be much lower not to mention they were using "Event Worn" rookie jerseys so they created a higher perceived value than what it actually is by putting the "RC" there. Its essentially no more than an autograph insert of him.

IMO it shouldn't sell for more than $150, but as we all know the initial release always command a bit more than they will a few months down the road. Can't wait to see the sucka who bites at this $350 price tag.

All we need to do is look at one example:

The highest price selling rookie from the initial Flawless Basketball release, and this is his Emerald version #/5 which is obviously more valuable than the one numbered to #/25.

If it's like basketball the diamond cards are the true rookies, everything else is an insert.

Diamond/Emerald Base Rookie > RPA's > Rookie Auto > Rookie Jumbo Patches....... everything after that is an INSERT.

I think you could see some of the Jumbo Patches outsell the RPA's numbered to the same amount depending on the patch quality.

Right. Basically this is like looking at a National Treasures break and going OMG the colossal auto is selling low this product is a failure!

I know nothing of flawless bkb. My collection is 94% football. From my perspective a flawless manziel auto /25 going for 275 is pretty cheap, I was expecting much much more.

Andrew Walter's Exquisite rookie went for more than $300. Now they can be had for $1. I bought the jersey numbered for $8.

And thus is why the seller listed it above that price, in order to capitalize on that exact thought process. Listen, if you really like the card and you fell comfortable paying that price then by all means, do so. However, my thinking is that you will soon see these Manziel auto INSERT cards #/25 selling for $110-$160.

Here is my question, I was under the impression that the rookie auto would be the same design as the basketball set since everything else is the same. Is there a rookie auto that looks the same as the basketball or are we considering this Manziel the true rookie auto?
