Arrow Need some help - ebay seller (long post)

Ok, after my debacle with getting my Matt Holliday ball autographed by his brother-in-law (or whoever it is that's answering his mail), I decided to go out and just see if I could find one online since TTM isn't really an option with him. I came across this ball (LINK) on ebay.

The ball definitely looks more genuine than what I got TTM so I did one of the PSA/DNA "Quick Opinions" and got back a "Likely Genuine". While waiting for that opinion to come back, I emailed the seller to ask him why he sells all these signed baseballs for so cheap and he responds back with something about PSA coming to their warehouse and telling them they are selling too low. Not real sure I buy that.

So I go look at some other places (Steiner, UD, etc) to do some comparisons on the signatures of some of tha balls he is selling.

Matt Holliday

Seller's ball

Steiner's ball

I don't think the M's look the same. Might be picky on my part but definitely different.

Cole Hamels

Seller's ball

Upper Deck's ball

I think the differences here are much more pronounced and now I'm really starting to question the validity of these signed balls.

So now here are my questions.
1. Am I being too picky in that the signatures aren't really the same as some trusted sources?
2. Does the PSA/DNA Quick Opinion service have any value?
3. Would you buy something from this seller given what you've seen here? (FYI - the seller has some negative feedback but not from anyone questioning the authenticity of signatures)

Sorry that I ask a lot of questions on here but I trust the opinions of the people on here.

Thanks

I think he has a racket going. That said, I do not know anything specifically about this seller either way. But I just think, with all the evidence presented here and on eBay, that he has a racket going. Maybe the wiwag people found something new to do.

I tend to agree with you.

Anyone else have an opinion?
