For this to release on time, wouldn't the big distributors have it already? Or at least it would be on the way to them and be delivered in the next day or two?

My guess is the distributors (like BO) will receive it on Friday the 5th (the release date).

The bulk of the shipments may get to dealers on Friday. Then that stuff may have to be turned around and shipped to buyers so the weekend may delay a lot of it getting into peoples hands. I think, Vinny

others touched on the basics but one thing he has said prior in this thread is that he hasn't ever sold to distributors. And by "distributors", he means businesses that only sell to other businesses (this doesn't include businesses like BO because they sell to end users).

Least the items in the boxes already have a pretty established market, so delays in shipments won't affect peoples sales. |

UPDATE:
Sorry for my lack of presence the past few days. Time is being spent trying to get all the logistics of this release taken care of. Checklist should be up tonight. I will post the link once I have it. Cases have started shipping to retailers for Friday release. The customs delay put everyone behind the 8 ball here so we are doing the best we possibly can to expedite shipping in some cases to get product to retailers. Most if not all will have cases Friday (customs pending of course ). SPOILER ALERT- Due to a ton of extra slabs we have added some special bonus redemption's for random Draft slab lots to the instant win scratch off. Also, due to extra stuff some boxes may have BOTH an instant win and a sketch card .SPOILER ALERT 2- Base chrome cards are VERY LIMITED in the 10 slabs/box. In fact, I don't think any non BGS 10 base chromes made it in (If they did it's super low). SUPER SPOILER ALERT- No, I didn't skip town lol Last edited by Prospect Rush; 06-03-2015 at 09:08 AM. |

Cheers, PR. Top notch work.
this is the most entertaining thread I can remember. post-release promises to create so many stories as well. wish I was in the big spenders club, I'd be writing my own. good luck to all invested.

Pretty impressive work by whomever did the pack out for this product. To get it in and out that quickly is pretty solid.

This would result in PR being able to ensure quality control without knowing what boxes contain what. It would also reduce the external cost of packout because the independent packout people would simply be pulling slabs out of boxes and then putting them in cases. |

I'm hoping to see a ton of breaks on YouTube Saturday morning. Coffee and boxes breaks at 5am has been my routine for the last 5 years.

From what i remember reading early in this thread. Will labeled each card as hit 1-10, extra 1-10, etc....
He then sent these packages to independant pack out company and said take one random card from each pile and pack them out that way. This way he doesn't know where they went but knows the approximate value on average each box should contain.

This has been a terrible week so far, so I'm excited for it to end and the breaks to get here!! I have pick #9 in a 24 pick hit draft, so I'm hoping I still get something ok (I'd even be happy with the case lol).

I'm trying to understand the current situation.....so thousands and thousands of dollars (at least $30K on Blowout alone) have been spent on this product, the product has been packed up and is being shipped to wholesalers for delivery by tonight, but there is still no checklist? The checklist that was promised because transparency is key value for this product? We know about 85 of the 3,000 slabbed cards?
I'm real excited about the breaks but this has me worried. |

I honestly don't understand the lure of this
why not just spend $2800 on whatever you want on eBay. I would imagine one could obtain a ridiculous slabbed collection for much better value instead of chasing after a few graded superfractors that have undoubtedbly declined in value (i.e A.Jax, Bryant) |
