Default PSA 10 over BGS 9.5

Why do PSA 10 cards fetch a better price than BGS 9.5 ?

Some people say tougher grading criteria.

Logically- PSA 10 could be a BGS 9.5 or BGS 10. A BGS 9.5 can't be a BGS 10.

Also, PSA registry

I agree with the registry comment.

This, for example, makes no sense but kudos to the BGS buyer:

PWCC Auctions eBay Broker

versus

1981 82 Georgetown 4 Patrick Ewing Rookie RC HOF BGS 9 w 9 5 RARE | eBay

And overall, I find BGS 9.5 cards are more stringent than PSA 10's -- particularly when it comes to edges and centering.

BGS 9.5 over PSA 10 any day!

PSA 10 with a FADED auto?
PSA Cases suck and many many more BGS 9.5s crossover to PSA 10s
PSA Grades Trimmed cards

Bgs, company and employees, have proven to me they have no morals- just using people to get money.

I've been lied to face to face by reps, Charles stabile.

I've been lied to by the bgs operators from God knows what country.

They have a certain group of submitters that get premium grades whenever they submit. (Circumstantial evidence only)

Their Bccg grading service is garbage and is only meant to deceive people into paying more for good grades/bad cards.

Their price guide is full of lies- this makes business impossible to do at times. They price cards high so people will buy their magazine. If they priced honestly, people wouldn't buy it.

And let's not forget their underhanded tactics to maintain a monopoly on checklists/pricing, which includes multiple lawsuits against COMC.

I can't wait for the day they are finally out of the hobby.

Cyclical

What is popular this year, won't be next year. Then the cycle will repeat.

The population reports suffer from all of the back and forth grading.
