I actually like that blackrose guy. I don't think he's really too worried about selling, just throwing up his card collection on ebay, as well as guitars. Probably his personal photobucket on ebay, as others have suggested. He's very successful, so him busting all those cases is probably just something for him to do for fun. If someone bites or sees something they like, they can go for it. Otherwise, he has no problem keeping it, he has all the leverage. At one point it seemed he pulled nearly half of the Flawless 1/1 print run lol. He had one that I really wanted and seemed pretty firm, but he worked with me and messaged back and forth to something we were both comfortable with. Even talked a bit about the hobby. Good guy.

I think this pretty much sums him up. Sucks when he has something you really want though cause it's going to be a battle to get it. Like right now he has really the only card that I am looking for but want's a good amount for it. We went back and forth a few times, but couldn't come to an agreement.

Because it looks like he busted a massive amount of Flawless cases and really has no plans to sell anything outside a sucker or two.
I made a couple offers on his Flawless also. Ended up scoring the Stafford Diamond from someone else for cheaper than what I offered him.

What about 2006cardbuyer??? Freaking OUTRAGEOUS prices, but at least he has BO option. Jaderock just doesn't care. He has a Jackson/Holt 1/1 dual 1 COLOR JERSEYS for $139.81. Creative with his prices, but I will never buy from him.

Perhaps my favorite of Jaderock's auctions...

Deion Sanders 1997 Score Showcase Artist Proof Bronze Foil 234 RARE Variant 1 1 | eBay

I collect this set quite a bit and this isn't a variant so much as it's a poorly manufactured print. It's almost like taking a card where the foil didn't quite stamp well and calling it a variant. Hell, who knows, maybe some guy will actually bite and make Jaderock over $100 on it. :eatit:

Blackrose289 has almost cornered the market on Emmitt Flawless base cards it seems. I guess when you do that you can ask outrageous prices. Now it's a Panini product so I have no real interest, but as an Emmitt collector I've kept an eye on them because I do kinda/maybe/sorta like them as much as it pains me to admit I might find a Panini product attractive.

I was curious about how often these Flawless base would change hands and since the print run is only 20 I started a spreadsheet to track sales. I should look at it and see how many he has listed were not pulled by him, but bought instead. I do know the Favre's have come down in price and there is one ending soon, wonder if he will buy it as it seems he has started adding multiple Favre's to his listings as well.

blackfoot27 and vintagesnowmobiles are a couple other sellers that come to mind with some crazy prices. I love that vintagesnowmobiles runs 5% off specials sometimes. OK lol. You're just playing with us now.

I have followed a couple cards being sold by blackfoot27 for what seems like at least two years now. They never sell for his asking price and he relists them at the same price everytime, so yea, they really don't care if they sell.

But, they are their cards and can ask what they want. I have not issue with it, eventhough I would love to get my hands on them.

I have broken down and OVERpaid for some cards, particularly from Burbank, as he has a lot of Emmitt's you don't see often, but like someone else said, I do this when I have some ebay bucks and cash back from my credit card to take the sting out of overpaying.

Sometimes you either overpay or you don't get.

I've worked with Peter on a couple different occasions, he had a couple rare Cris Carter I needed and I had a rare Brunell card he needed. He traded in my favor.
