Default Miami Dolphins were getting beat by their own practice squad.

lol.............

Report: Ryan Tannehill Did Not React Well To Getting Beaten By The Scout Team

Whenever an NFL coach gets fired, it’s always fun to sit around and wait for the follow-up stories that shed some light on just how bad things were before the firing. The Dolphins fired head coach Joe Philbin this morning, and the National Football Post’s Aaron Wilson has provided us with such a report.

From Wilson:

On Saturday during practice, [Ryan] Tannehill, after a couple of practice squad players forced turnovers, Tannehill made negative comments toward them, including saying: “Enjoy your practice squad paycheck, enjoy your practice squad trophy.”

Sources say this has been going on for the past few weeks as the practice squad players have been intercepting Tannehill and frustrating the former Texas A&M wide receiver turned quarterback.

The report goes on to say that Philbin actually had to tell the practice squad players to take it easy on Tannehill because the quarterback was getting so rattled. Starters getting into it with practice squad players is probably something that happens all the time in the NFL, but it’s really funny in this scenario because it’s Ryan Tannehill doing the sneering, and not, say, Aaron Rodgers or Peyton Manning. This is what would happen if Spaulding Smails was an NFL quarterback.

Remember when they were going to win their division?

They can't even win at their own practice facility.

Tannehill should start paying practice squad players to not pick him off.

Well, there's a slight difference between one of the greatest of all time, a competitive beast, and Ryan Tannehill.

It's never Tannehill's fault.

Ever.

Didn't see this at first

But who makes more money? Because that's how you can usually tell who's better.

I actually like this.

Nothing like a little cash to spark some healthy competition.

If Derek Carr keeps putting up stellar numbers but Oakland keeps losing, would he be a bust?
I wouldn't give Tannehill the bust label yet. He has had a very productive career thus far.
It isn't his fault that his defense isn't as good as they were last year, even with adding Suh.

RGIII - Bust. Jake Locker - Bust. Blaine Gabbert -Bust

Can't put Ryan in that list....not yet at least

Might do everyone a bit of good to actually look into it before posting blind statements.

First of all it was a walk-through. You know, where you go through your plays. While walking? Not going full speed where you know damn well where the ball is going to be thrown and running it back for a pick 6. Childish and immature for one thing and a bit disrespectful.

Lastly, Both Jeff Darlington and Adam Beasley confirmed that the whole "paycheck" comment was completely false reporting. Tannehill made the "trophy case" statement but nothing more.

I seriously hate how people grab stuff like this and run with it. No hard facts, no players coming out and straight up confirming anything, just complete nonsense being generated on a player with a flawless resume of character during his entire stay in the league thus far.

i get everyone is having fun with it, but seriously...

What exactly are we missing???

On Saturday during practice, [Ryan] Tannehill, after a couple of practice squad players forced turnovers, Tannehill made negative comments toward them, including saying: “Enjoy your practice squad paycheck, enjoy your practice squad trophy.”

I guess since you were there you know exactly what happened...but not sure why someone would lie about this...

Yah, you know. Just like the houston base reporter that broke the story.

Why would someone lie? Why wouldn't they? Miami in shambles? Just fired their head coach, might as well just drag their newly paid QB down too right? Watch the fires burn?

I'm more likely to believe the two reporters that I listed and their reporting than all the others that have "confirmed" the story.

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 56m56 minutes ago

In case it wasn't clear, Tannehill friend disputed other outlets' reports. What @flasportsbuzz reported yesterday is 100 percent accurate.

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 57m57 minutes ago

Yes

@AdamHBeasley so he said the trophy case thing, probably not the paycheck thing?

FloridaSportsBuzz confirmed the "trophy case" statement, yet no one will confirm the "paycheck" statement.

Anyone who knows how Tannehill talks in his pressers where he never blames anyone but himself, knows that this in no way shape or form sounds anything like him.

But hey, I guess you're free to believe in whatever nonsense you chose...

If they printed everything said on a Football field in a single day, there would be hourly tweets/lawsuits, or lawsuites as some prefer...
