Updating my lists for August - not including recent draftees yet. And excluding guys who are up in MLB [As of August 12th] because they will most likely surpass the rookie eligibility thresholds. If they get demoted and retain eligibility they will join the draftees in my February list.

My thought is I regret not getting to a Giants game during the ACL season

He's very interesting and I did think about him early on as I was perusing the ACL lists, so he truthfully should've been listed with the names at the end. His body is not the super projectable type for an 18yo, so it depends on how much you believe in the hit. The scouting is backing up that it's there, I'm not 100% sold yet but wouldn't fault anyone for being so. You can call him a "just missed" for my list though.

How about Bo Davidson?

Has some potential untapped upside, was reportedly looking stronger this year than last, but struggling with the transition to AA as a now 23yo so he's likely in my 125-200 range were I to list them that far. Main question with him is will he hit well enough at the higher levels. Look for him to make adjustments this offseason and if he comes back in '26 swinging well at AA he might move up into the top 100.

Been pretty tantalized by Tony Blanco Jr. lately. Just turned 20 and is in low A but has performed very well in limited time at the level and has more power than anyone in the minors (hit a home run with 119.8 mph exit velocity this year). High strikeouts but legit 80 grade power. These guys convert fly balls into home runs so effortlessly it's hard not to be interested.

As I start to put more serious thought into my own list, the first thing that jumps out at me is this year's list seems quite a bit stronger than normal. I've got two guys that would be #1 in a typical year (Basallo, Griffin), plus an above normal amount of Grade A talent. We'll see if that holds true when I get all the numbers put in and look at everybody next to each other and year's past.
Does it seem stronger than normal to you?
