sadly, the only cards Shohei has is some Panini Trout cards he pulled busting some boxes at his Panini signing session...

Once again, you're twisting a reading of what I've said. You keep making up a condescending theme to what I'm saying, which is dead wrong. "Not knowing or caring" that Prizm is out of favor is not the same as "not understanding how baseball cards work." There's no right or wrong way to collect. Traditional baseball collectors don't like Panini. Basketball/Football guys do. If I collected basketball, I'd never buy a patch card. But in those sports they love patch cards.

It's very weird how uppity and defensive you get over how basketball money influences the baseball card market.

Pitching: Needs to have control tonight as Giants have one of the lowest chase rates (ball out of strike zone) in MLB.
Hitting: Giants will try and pitch him up out of zone. If he can limit the Ks then could have a good day hitting.
For your question on topps now cards, don’t collect them much. There are Topps now cards written in Kanji for his rookie year that seem cool. Maybe the numbered cards this year could have value for a specific moment? Hard to say. I try to collect what I like. Do have a preference for hitting or pitching cards or both?

I bought a bunch of the topps now cards including those in Kanji. Mainly bought them because I thought the price was fair and the cards have low print runs. Figured it was worth throwing a dart at. You never know what people will value in the future of his cards. In general I like his hitting cards better (mainly because I like watching him hit so much) but I have no problem buying both!

Hoping Ohtani has another great day today!!!

Today’s inter league game with the giants made me realize how much even. Ore valuable he’d be playing the in the National league..

Did he look overly gassed at the end!? Seemed to be laboring a bit...but strong outing!

6 innings, 9 strikeouts, 1 run given up (105 pitches).
Safe to say he’s officially done for the day.
Hopefully the Angels can score some runs in bottom of 6th to give him the W.
