They might also seek payment from him if customers complain and seek refunds from sketchy BBCE authenticated Pokemon products.

Who wins here? Rattle! Logan Paul owes this guy big time!
Agreed. BBCE Steve looked like an absolute moron explaining why everything looked good in his "expert" opinion. I think the lost of trust will certainly bleed into his "expertise" on sports card cases as well.

This was a great story and I am looking forward to more follow-up videos!

I wonder if meely will ever post here on Blowout again. I have no clue if any of the other guys are on here.

are there any legal claims against the original seller? I suppose his multiple lies would be enough evidence to say he was shady. Should have just kept the 'received as a gift' story and plead ignorance

Still has to hurt to lose not just the money but the item itself. You could tell he had a lot of pride from having the case.

If anyone wants entertainment, go to cardkahuna's instagram. Everyone is commenting on his cards and it is hilarious! Some of my favorites are

"Any GI joe packs available?"

"A lot of these cards about to hit the auction houses to pay your debt, I’m looking forward to the market colluding to buy all your cards for penny’s on the dollar you big nerd"

"Put him in the ring with Logan just one round please"

Meh. He seems like a real nice guy, but still a typical flipper. When I was selling off my cards PC, I went to him, along with others I was trying to sell to.

He looked over what I had, and pretty much told me there wasn't even $20K in value. Even when I had a few other offers in hand, for about $50,000.

I thanked him for looking, as he was polite. And sold most of it for $48,000 about a week later. He seemed a little greedy, and some misdirection, with what he wanted to pay me. But again, he is a flipper. So you have to expect wanting to make a quick buck, and as many bucks as you can.

Not a nice guy. Promised to pay shyne back. Now has lawyered up. He should be black balled from the hobby and hopefully end up in jail.

This saga isn't over yet. Meely lawyered up despite promising to pay Shyne back. And CardKahuna previously claiming he's worth "$150mm" but now says he doesn't have the money. We need a Netflix documentary made.

Logan ends up coming out of all this clean—Shyne as well if he gets his money back. Everyone else is scum including BBCE

Paul has already been refunded. Matt Allen, aka shyne150 is the one that will have to fight to get his from the flippers.

I know Steve. I have sold to Steve's team before. With that said, I have never seen his so scared before. When he turned to the group, and said "We all got duped, right".

It was just him trying to shoulder the blame on everyone else as well. Even though the "buyer" flat out said, he never would have bought it without Steve wrapping it.

Exactly. That comment stood out like a sore thumb. Instead of taking responsibility for his mistake, he tried to play it off like everyone should share in culpability. Uh, no Steve, you were the one who deemed it authenticate.

I guess kudos to all involved for recording the opening for the world to see. Craziness from start to finish.

Only one person got "duped." That was Steve Hart. Meelypops and Cardkahuna knew it was faked and suckered Steve Hart to authenticate this case quickly bringing in "experts" like thepokejew. Shyne believed, like most people here, that BBCE are experts and if it is wrapped it is real. He was also lied too as well by the group of scammers when he bought the sealed box. I think Logan Paul and Shyne were just trusting authentication by a company that seemed well respected and used by PSA, the biggest grader in the industry. A lot of people relate BBCE to PSA.

Not only will Shyne get his money back, but he will get more in damages, which he deserves. BBCE, meelypops, and cardkahuna should just pay up right now. They will lose much more in a court.

Was only speaking from my personal experience. And in no way, shape or form related to these shenanigans.

He was polite and friendly whenever I would see him at a show. And he was the same, when I tried doing this larger ($50K is big, but not compared to this $3.5MIL) deal with him.

Well, outside of trying to undervalue my stuff, to get himself a much, much better deal than it was worth.

Kudos to Logan Paul for putting this all out there, right??? How hush-hush might this all have been kept if the scenario was some vintage sports case and a bunch of good ol' boy collectors/pals of Steve? Honestly probably good for everyone to know Steve Hart's process is not infallible...and not even particularly good in this instance.
