The #1 issue with the bullpen is they can't strike anyone out.

Volpe is a major disappointment, not looking good at a year and a half in, going backwards, gleyber sucks, dj sucks, wells sucks, cabrera sucks, verdugo blah, we got Soto and Judge, thats it folks. Rice is at least interesting....Is Gary Sanchez available?

Many critiques of Boone I can understand, but just saying he doesn't get the best out of his players seems like a stretch. By that logic he was getting the best out of them through the first 70 games.

I'm just trying to save the season. If they need a new voice then you have to try. Fire Boone now and Cashman in the off season. There is no sense of urgency with this team. Gleyber was asked before the game if he felt any pressure and he said no. These guys have no pressure to win.

Its a gamble but has obviously worked for other teams (like the Phillies), downside is they completely lose the locker room. Either way, if the season keeps bottoming out then everyone should get fired and Hal should sell the team.

They have quit on Boone. When even their better players aren’t contributing something is wrong. They are lifeless which unfortunately is the personality of their manager. I will say you can’t blame too many of Boone’s managerial moves but just seeing no spark means it’s time to go.

We are in the new era of play for one of the 3 WC spots and if you win the division so be it. Division championships just don't mean as much to the teams themselves as it does to the fanbase.

As of today the Yankees have more wins than all 12 N.L. teams vying for a WC spot and 3 more wins than the 2nd place A.L. team. The fans are in panic mode but they actually are sitting fairly pretty going into the break of getting 1 of the 3 spots in the A.L.

Last time I checked the manager doesn't pitch or hit. And if these grown men, who get paid millions of dollars a year, need someone to "inspire" them in order to perform, well, they've got bigger problems than just sucking. I don't have strong feelings about Boone one way or another. But he's stuck with what upper management has given him. And at this time he's working with sh*t! I know, or at least I hope I know, that these players want to win. But when players are guaranteed to get paid, no matter how they perform, it's kind of hard not to wonder who's just mailing it in and who's really trying.

Plus, this total farce of a team is making it more and more likely that Cashman will do something stupid come trade deadline. Something like trading Dominguez or Jones.

Funny how that worked out. But nobody wanted the play by play and there were enough complaints that I just stopped. I have been working a lot of Mbraves games so I haven’t been around to do it even if I wanted to. Maybe I will pick it up when the Mbraves go on the road.
