Goldin needs to fix their pathetic website..cant even see what last nites auction closed at unless you bidded on cards...so was the final price for both psa 10 57, 600k? I figure after the website crash a lot of people didn't bid in the extended hours because I won two cards that I didn't expect to win....

Supposedly this is their last auction using the site...we’ll see...

You can't see the prices because the auction is still going. Yes, session 1 is done and closed but session 2 is still going. Stupid, I know. But you'll be able to see all of the ending prices after session 2 closes tonight.

You’re right. That doesn’t make any sense. I don’t see why they can’t simply show the ending prices if there were no more extended hours bids. Seems like Simple coding to me and they could afford it now.

Well, Ken said this will be the last auction they run with the Simple Auction software, so it should be corrected soon.

I'm glad they are finally changing, but tbh it's mickey mouse to have stuck with a constantly failing system for so many auctions. When you are running millions of dollars thru your system, you should have a better system than something resembling aol-era fail rates.

Well, now it seems like the card has taken a pretty big hit, especially from the same 7.5 range down. Even the lower grades in the last couple of days. Some nice BGS 7.5's have really taken a hit, so it will be interesting to see where the next PSA 7's end up. I was hoping the cards could sustain there near peak values, but simply too many of them being sold right now? what are your guys thoughts? will the prices come back to November/December range or even lower?

PSA doesn't have a 7OC grade. It'd be a 9OC or a straight 7. A 7OC would just be a 5

Early money in made out pretty good, but like all cards in this realm (Henderson PSA 10 - hint hint) a few “sales” with a lot of pumping when they were listed made for a perfect storm. Great card without question and THE card to own in the hobby. When you want to acquire good stuff you do it quietly, but when you want to sell you do it loudly.

A month ago we said they would come back down to earth when they were going through the roof, and despite people on here making huge claims once they dropped they went silent suddenly. 9’s are in the low $50’s and now high $40’s and 8’s are in the $14k range. Nothing wrong with the card at all - just not at the insane prices they were going for due to heavy promoting by people that owned them and duped some collectors in the short term. Best advice is find the best 8 or 9 you can find with strong centering and eye appeal when you are ready to buy, and check VCP or 130 point for a price range. Jordan’s will never not be popular - just be smart on what you pay for them.

7 and 7.5s have actually been ticking back up recently. Believe it or not, the gap between them and 8s was even wider a week or two ago for some reason.

Someone also just snagged a PSA 8 for under 13k. I guess that’s what happens when auctions end at midnight ET on a Tuesday lol

I thought this one, but card was loose in the slab and had a bad corner. Akzi, I couldn’t tell if it was off center. Of course prostein lying about the pack fresh title when the slab is encased in the old holder. I can see why it got a low bid.

Very well said and it seems like what you have been saying all along has/is currently happening with #57. There is still the outlier in all grades with this card, but it seems to be trending down again. I know that just the other day, I was saying the opposite (lol) but the truth doesn't lie with ending prices I have seen in the past few days.

But the PSA 10's from Goldin's Auctions ended for $600,000 and $610,000 (Up from the previous sale), so maybe in a few days, I will be posting they are all going up again, lol! It really is just so unpredictable every day!

I actually just missed out on this one by a few bucks. I thought it was actually a very sharp example, just a horrible picture by Probstein lol.

Also, I figured I could ask this here because the Prism Jewel is technically a rookie card: Can someone look at my pics and tell me if these appear to be authentic (do they even produce reprints/fakes of this sticker)?

How would these grade? I have other pics as well if need be.
Given the usual way people talk about defining rookie cards, the (I assume) very limited distribution of these would not make them rookie cards, but I've noticed they still command huge dollars especially in top condition. Not able to see yours in person but they look great regardless.

Thanks for the feedback.

Anyone sure about authenticity when it comes to these stickers?

Hey guys, I'm working on a local trade here on a #57 and I have the opportunity to grab either a BGS 8.5 with 9.5 centering or a PSA 8 with what would probably be 9ish centering for about the same trade value. Which one would you choose?

I'd personally go with the 8.5 unless the other subs on it are really weak.

Thanks, yeah that's what I'm leaning towards. The other subs are 9 corners, 8.5 edges and 7.5 surface.
