This market is impossible to keep up with. I sold some S1 Zion/Lukas last night and put it into ~70 S2 all-stars and that worked out pretty well. Debating on purging the account today and moving the money around. Anyone have any good buys or interesting trends? I trust the people here way more than whatever you want to call that discord.

I mentioned it a page back but I think Mitchell is underrated. Best player on the best team, the jazz are insane right now. And you can get him under 200? Basically same price if not a smidge cheaper than Trae, feels like a winner

Also looking at trying to snag some of the /7500 of stars. I think it makes more sense to drop 475 on a Giannis /7500 than 325 on the /15000

Yeah, Mitchell was an easy one last night. Still is. Tatum is another sub-$200 that doesn’t make a lot of sense in this current market. Giannis /7500 looks like value. Gonna go pick one up.

I just picked up Deni Avdija for $360. Figure with any of the rookies, 1 big game and their first moment should explode. Also more limited /4000

Also I think any of those cheap series 1 guys isn’t a bad idea, and if you can snag one of those series 1 non base sets. I’m looking at potentially snagging an early adapters soon

I've been trying to move out of some S1 MGLEs that took big jumps to some more liquid S2 /7500 star moments as I think some of those are still very underpriced. Specifically looking at Ja and Trae. Not having much success moving out of those S1s at the moment though.

The discord is cringe with the blatant pumps. I bought about 10 moments of Lamarcus Aldridge, for his career he's still one of the cheap buys (for now) and he's close to hitting 20K career points so I figure selling when that happens might bring in some coin. Just my take. I also bought a couple Kelly Oubre posterizing KD.

They're great long term. It all depends on your goals. The short term gains to be had on those cards are likely to pay for a couple S1 high end cards if I can execute the play/it goes to plan.

Yeah they are a safe bet long-term but in theory, you should easily be able to sell/flip S2/rebuy fairly easily. In the current market, you could probably do it in a couple hours.

I really just wanted to stick to S1 LE, but having major FOMO seeing all of these lower priced S2 /15000’s going insane.

The Trae Series 2/7500 is a huge bargain compared to the other similar stars.

Good call on Aldridge. Just snagged a 4300 SN for 43, only 4 bucks above current lowest (which is like 13K SN)

I think they may in the next few weeks release the rest of Series 2 release 1 before they start putting out Series 2 release 2.

Yeah it's really hard to get info you trust at times on the discord. I was gonna buy the Oubre and didn't now it's up to $70. Same with the Sabonis that was being pumped. It's up $30 from when I looked to buy and didn't. I should have bought Durant S2 last night with the all the talk about how it was undervalued and it's up $200 from where I could have bought. On the flip side I bought a Booker and Lillard that was being talked about and those 2 are combined up over $300 from my purchase price. It's crazy that the lowest ask I just saw is Ish Smith for $24. Just a few days ago my lowest purchases were Series 2 Miles Bridges and Darius Garland at $3 each.

np thats a good number! Just hold it for a bit, Spurs look like they'll make the playoffs too that's another bonus, not sure how things will look by then or if we sell before that but compared to other moments it still hasn't peaked.

Man I feel ya, I paid $20 for the oubres, got maybe 5 of them and you're right they went up quick, last I saw they were like 30, I think they can reach 150
when people realize he dunked on KD but its a high buy in when you look back on it. I passed on a couple moments like you mentioned Sabonis when they were really low but hey this stuff was unprecedented (by most of us lol).
Booker and Lillard were good picks, Lillards moments were real low for a while.
