Those express orders must be the size of the boat that is blocking the Suez Canal.

It's encouraging to see the bulks that idle for a while have some serious movement when they do move.

Really hope a similar effort to work on Economy orders happens soon, as many have said it is pretty insane the lack of movement from these orders given the cost was nearly double that of bulk at the time

Express is a combo of 5 and 10 day now? I did a 5 day with my card shop mid Feb and nothing yet

Big movements like TCG jumping >2 weeks today supports that unreasonably large orders are influencing the CTD. PCS went to orders no bigger than ~300 cards a very long time ago because turnaround was better. Not everybody caught on.

TCG has lost 4 days since this tracking started. Fluctuations from day-to-day. But overall has gotten worse.

Of the 10 submissions levels I'm tracking, 7 have gotten worse, 3 better.

This coming Monday will be one month since CTD Tracker started.

Yes - its very easy to influence these dates. They could be holding one order up and then they "release" it so it looks like they made a huge jump in one day. I know this has been brought up before but it would be helpful for them to release how many orders they finished at a given level every day vs # outstanding in the system. I'm sure those numbers are completely out of sync so we won't ever see them but that is a true indicator as to how they are working through the backlog. At the end of the day, this is better than saying 100+ business days for turnaround times so will take whatever we can get...

It is going to get worse the further these dates progress into Q4 2020 and Q1 2021. A day will not equal a day due to the huge increase in orders they received peaking with March 2021. It is probably going to be frustratingly slow absent a huge uptick in productivity. I'm not expecting any Value subs to come back for 18 - 24 months realistically at this point. I hope I'm wrong and if they beat that I will be happy...

If they are currently receiving 500,000 cards per 5-day business week, the backlog is probably worse than anyone has predicted. 2 million+ cards per month is incredible. Based on those numbers alone they have already received around 6 million cards in 2021. With COVID restrictions and lack of staff, their throughput is no where near what it needs to be to keep up with those numbers. That is probably why they never release any concrete data. Only vague platitudes about trying to increase productivity and hire more staff.

Both of my bulk tcg subs from early August finally went into grading this week so I’m not surprised to see the jump on the tracker. I’m glad that they seem to be seeking out the oldest and prioritizing them now. I now have hope that these will be done in under a year from submission. I did not have this hope last week lol.

Pure conjecture, but I don't think they are getting quite that many cards. Was something around 2 million for the first two months of the year per Steve Sloan.

"We'll take what we can get" is not a standard you want to hold a company you're choosing to. But that's what happens when perception causes you to believe they have you by the balls since they already have your cards.

Vote with your dollars. Take a percentage of your business elsewhere. On a micro level they may not care, but on a macro level when they're increasing overhead? Shifting money to other companies will produce different results in this one.

Straight from the Joe Orlando:

"Quite frankly, it’s better described as a tsunami. For example, at the time of this writing, PSA was receiving more cards every five days (over 500,000 per business week) than what we used to receive every three months. Try processing that for a second. The incoming pace didn’t go up 50% or 2X-3X, it went up multiple times."

So if it was 2M through the end of February. Its likely another 2M has come in March (500k x 4 weeks) for 4M cards received YTD.

It's going to be interesting to see when value-modern moves if it only moves a day or two (they really have a big backlog) or if it makes a big jump (one problem order was holding things up more than the rest).

Had one stuck there for 1 month. Yes I want mine done, but not losing sleep over it.

Crazy how random things are at PSA. SEEM to be using the technique I do. Clear small items to show progress then tackle the big stuff. I am sure there are some huge submissions!!!

When it will really get interesting is when they get in to 2021. Like things might be rolling along somewhat smoothly, then get stuck in Feb 2021 for several months.
