I can't see the Bills or the Ravens beating them.

What’s everyone opinion on NT RPA /99 vs gold Prizm rookie. I get that gold is /10, so it transacts much less and obviously is 10x more rare. But Prizm was never meant to be high end. NT and flawless was always marketed as high end. Just like I would take lebrons exquisite RPA over Lebrons topps chrome gold, I would take the NT assuming 3 color patch. I know lebrons case is not apples to apples as the gold there is /50. As a collector, I like owning an auto/patch vs a colored parallel card. Just my 2 cents.

I don't think I could afford either at the moment so my opinion matters less than the people shelling out millions for cardboard. I'd probably prefer the autograph, but I'd be pretty thrilled with either one.

I'm an RPA guy, so I'd take the NT

I definitely see the case for the Prizm though, the fact that prizm is the most popular panini product and there's only ten of them is pretty huge

Gold Prizm all day for me. The turnover has ground to a halt and suspect those who have acquired are in for the mid/long haul.

Look at the market todays for any year Mahomes true gold - nothing FS. One single copy sold from 2024 and was snapped up real quick.

Let me put it this way. If you have money, you can buy an NT RPA anytime you want. There’s no shortage. The same is not true for the gold prizm. from a collector standpoint, I could see if someone prefers auto’s over non-auto, but from a value perspective it it’s not even close.

Gold Prizm rookie definitely has the edge in terms of future growth due to scarcity/demand. I’m still a long term believer in the NT RPA /99 also since it’s one of Paninis most recognizable card/brand thanks to guys like Curry, Luka, N Mahomes. Some people want to downgrade NT due to “non game used” patches..but lebrons RPA wasn’t also..I think in the long run, the brand/player rookie is what people look for and not so much whether it’s game used or not (especially since there are no rookie game used stuff with mahomes).

Back in 2021 the Bengals ended the Chiefs season.

The Chiefs have ended their season the last 3 years.

Anyways, Bengals vs Bills would have been fun to see. Looks like we'll likely be seeing the Chargers in round 2, unless Houston can get it together. Without Tank Dell.

Well if things go the way they "should" the Ravens and Bills will win and they will then play each other with the winner coming to KC for the AFC Championship.

The Chiefs were vanilla in the extreme today.

I am pleased DJ Humphries made it through the game without too much trouble. Thuney will be at LG in the Divisional Round.

The thing that concerns me the most from yesterday is the play of Wentz. Granted he was playing with back up's, but didn't really see anything at all that gave me confidence.

I know it was kind of alluded to above, but the Mahomes market as a whole is drying up...

There a few extremely high end cards that come up for sale here and there. Lot's of really cheap stuff like collegiate rookies or base but the middle ground where most of us play is drying up quickly.

Lots of Mahomes are being snatched up and are being locked into vaults etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if most of his stuff doesn't see the light for another 10-15 years. The only reason some stuff comes out and hits the market is bc the seller is looking to offload it to add something even better.

If you're a Mahomes fan, enjoy it. This is the golden age.
