awesome, they are going to get a ton 2023 series 1 sent in. I think this proves that SGC really could in the influx of cards at that price point. Would love to see a return of rotating monthly specials by eras/type.

I've used BOCA several times, and every time they're back in my hands in two weeks or less.. Great Sub Group!

How long does the 2023 Topps $9 grading special last?

No announced end date, though Bowman Chrome went for a couple months and applied to all BC products for 2022. Wouldn't surprise me to see this last the year. I don't think it overloads their capacity to grade, especially once the initial release dies and I would bet they are happy to see the additional cards people send along with the 2023 topps cards.

I have 2 Mickey Mantles that are currently graded and would like to submit them to get them graded by SGC.
1959 Mantle AS SGC 82 (6.5) 1960 Mantle AS BVG 7.5 I was wondering if SGC would re-holder the 1959 with the same grade or would they re-grade it? Also what kind of crossover should I expect on the 1960? Should I break it out and send raw? Any help on this would be appreciated!!! Thanks. |

They will only re-grade it if you crack it out and send it in raw but I would not risk that. They have been consistent and tough since day 1, that's why I love them! You could also leave it in the old holder and ask them to re-grade it but 99 times out of 100 it will come back the same grade so I'd just re-holder it. SGC 6.5 is nice on that card and will look good in a new tuxedo. I would NEVER send them a Beckett or PSA and have it broken out by them and re-graded. It WILL grade lower and possible be slabbed as authentic as BGS and PSA have plenty of altered cards in their slabs! Oops the secret is out! lol I'd keep it as is or crack it out and try to have it graed raw by SGC. You can do both on same order form with SGC. Reholder and raw grading. Another reason they are schooling the other TPGs. Their direct grading system is simple to use. I send cards almost every other week to SGC if I can find stuff which is getting harder. Good luck! |

Love the old stuff. I finally got off the fence before sending my last batch of cards between CSG and SGC. I sent them to SGC. Looking forward to the results.

Sorry if this question has been asked 1000 times. Can anyone put the SGC status’s in order?

They ship after "Post Grading Processing." This ("Shipped") is typically when the grades pop. Then overnight you will have the scans at some point.

Just sent 77 as part of the Topps S1 Promo, mostly bass rookies. At $9 and the turnaround time, I'm expecting this to help offset the costs of my rips. Have more to send if this goes well. First time SGCer.

Hopefully you can sell some of the slabs before the price on these cards comes to earth.

Single card delivered Friday 2/17. Graded Tuesday 2/21 and shipped back with expected arrival of Saturday. 10 day from mailed to in hand is solid.

That is the hope. I sent Gunnar, Adley, and MH3 only. I figure 1 of the 3 will start out hot in ST, the other two should sell OK based off names alone. We'll see. Bit of an experiment.

It was a quick turnaround. I did very well on the base Mega Box Mojo Refractors in a 9.5 & 10 and autos selling them on eBay.

I take it they don't have mail delivered on Saturdays? Tracking showing available for pickup at PO. This is normal?

The items are picked up from the PO. Not all POs have Saturday pickup for items and also they likely do not do it on Saturdays as SGC is closed. So yeah its perfectly normal.
