I agree -- and the games Mookie missed is going to hurt him in the WAR race. But for my money, he is the most entertaining player to watch in baseball.

Yeah I can get on board with that. He has some serious flare to his game.

I just bought his gold Topps update batting RC. I hope to add a few others.

A lot of opportunity for him to shine other than MVP. Boston will assuredly be in the post season.

He and a few others have far fewer rookies and prospect cards than others. For example, Francisco Lindor has 4 times as many as Betts, and probably 10 times more than Jose Ramirez.
Compare that to guys like Harper, Judge, and Stanton who, for various reasons have a lot more card exposure before their debut.

I'd say so for sure. I picked up one with the eBay discount last month, wish I would have bought 10.

More accurately, I wish I would have bought more than one Mookie card in the off-season when I was thinking he was primed for a better year.

Whoa! I just looked at the prices and they sure skyrocketed. Luckily, I bought this when it was $29. It’s a much more beautiful card in person. It’s my favorite Betts rookie card.

I think Gold PSA 10. Just get a Gold Chrome PSA 10 and your covered!

BTW search 2014 Heritage Betts PSA 10 and you'll find auctions are closing Higher than some BIN's...

I probably missed the boat on the Gold Chrome PSA 10, haha. What’s it probably run, $1,000?

I do have the Gold Update US26 PSA 10 & BGS 10 Heritage. I’m a big fan of the Update US26 though, probably partial to that one over the Heritage just a little.

& yeah, I don’t get the auctions closing higher than the BINs. Shilled auction or tunnel vision I suppose, maybe someone just looking at the auction one’s bets are already placed in. Odd.

Have an Update Chrome PSA 10 and I just pulled it off eBay, card is wayyyyy too hot to sell now especially at the pace hes going at. Could be $350-$400 by the end of the year if he keeps it up

I sold my Gold Update PSA 10 for $385, had Update Chrome at $290 with no takers. So I'd say the Update Chrome has more room while the Gold is going to be a less rapid climber price wise
