That's been my impression from the beginning. He popped up out of nowhere 2-3 years ago and bought nothing but massive cards. Not just a handful either; HUNDREDS of them. Always felt like a money laundering operation, especially with the way he's publicized "deals."

I agree, and I think Logan Paul is doing the hobby a huge favor right now by spending big bucks on stuff like this. Like you say if there wasn't a young guy with money to throw away on stuff like this when or how would this have come to light.

What we need is to get Logan Paul interested in high dollar sports cards so he can get some real attention put onto the high end sports shadiness that has been going on for years. He's got the money and viewership to really stir things up if he wanted.

Maybe get some of the BODA agents out here to find some more cases of non sport for him to buy to do the same thing he just did. Again, he has the public eye right now, because of his media influence he could really bring some accountablility to the hobby if he wanted to. Just imagine him opening up that bank and buying a few more cases of sketchy repack. That would get some of these sleazy dealers squirming pretty fast

I am sure he will be fine. It looks like he will pay Shyne back. He can use Jacob's refusal to pay him back to argue he also got duped.

He will probably be at card shows again by February or March acting like this never happened.

I’m not completely sure which way I lean yet on this. Something like this SHOULD summon the death knell but I think about just about every scandal (outside of murder) in history that involved someone who’s #1 goal in life was fame and the majority ended up ok, if not better in the end. All publicity is good publicity as PT Barnum said.

I have a son at UF that frequents the shop in Gainesville and he compares this to watching a real-life reality show play out in front of him. He says that Jameel has changed a lot over the last 2 years and isn’t the same guy now compared to when the store opened. The last time I dealt with his staff personally, I left with a feeling of distrust that I don’t think could ever change. Watching closely…

But that actually was a real card and just famous because of the fraud and who owned it. After this who is to say what someone would pay for a sealed Pokemon 1st Edition case though as of right now only 1 exists in the world that people know of that is verified.

I bet it would sell for way more than $3.5 Million after this if it could be verified by Gary's case.

Gary is actually the winner in all this now which is ironic after watching him bumble and fumble his way through this whole ordeal.

Jameel is money hungry and overlooked a shady situation cause $ talks.

Guy always preaches values but was quick to offer me 10% of eBay values for my rare FOTL Boxes and mentioned overhead as the reason. “You see I have overhead every month, help a guy out”
