He has the same amount of errors, 52, as home runs in his 3 year career.

Errors by SS: 2023 (2nd) 17, 2024 (4th) 16, 2025 (1st) 19.

That's unacceptable in any month, but when you are trying to keep a playoff spot and win the Division, it is horrible.

You look at his career numbers, and if anything, at least he's consistent?
2023: .666 OPS
2024: .657 OPS
2025: .661 OPS

That's what I mean. The Yankees could cut him in the offseason and then another team will pick him up on a cheap, "prove it" deal where maybe he'll improve slightly since there's less pressure but ultimately just fade away into irrelevancy and then we'll hop on this board and someone will ask "remember Volpe? Where is he now?" and he'll be out of the game.

It has happened way too often recently.... Rizzo, Verdugo, Hicks, Donaldson, Gallo.. and now soon to be Volpe, DJLM, and Stroman.

Change of scenery will help Volpe probably. Look at Gleyber. Especially the errors! Alot of it is in the head and can't get out.

Maybe we need Tony Robbins on payroll.

You're directly over the target. Last night I was wondering what kind of sports psychologist the Yankees employ. I've said before in this thread that a good amount of former Yankees in the post-Steinbrenner era leave and find success.

Jack Flaherty has been one of the worst pitchers in MLB since the All Star break. You do realize of course that means he's going to shut down the Yankees tonight.

Well win or lose the least that can happen is they will still be tied with the Red Sox. The A’s of all teams got to Chapman for a 9th inning run to win 5-4.

Judge needs to stop taking so many pitches. Never saw him not being aggressive.

And a check swing strikeout turns into a ball and then a double.

When they are calling strikes at his shins what do you want him to swing at? He might as well yell 4!

If they are being called strikes he needs to make an adjustment. We’ve seen him go down looking way too many times.

Maybe striking out looking is better than hitting into a double play on ball 4.

No offense by either team so far. Just don’t want the bullpen in anytime before the 8th.

Throw strikes didn’t last night’s 7th inning teach you anything. Here we go again. Single, walk hit by pitch. Sound familiar.

Well Gleyber has a chance to punish his old team.

Well Rodon couldn’t get it done earlier in the count and Gleyber took advantage of a 3-2 must strike pitch.

It’s like Rodon can look unhittable and then lose it so fast.
